Whether it is relaxing on one of the balconies and watching the golfers lose ball after ball, soaking in the wonderful Island Sun, or enjoying the tranquil beauty of the garden. You will find yourself waking up each day relaxed and refreshed.

We are Calvin and Carol Hassell. This is the home where we raised our daughter and our son. Our home was always filled with love, friends, good food and great times. We have many wonderful and treasured memories in our home, and we now would like for you to make your own. We are sure you will enjoy your home away from home!

Our immaculately cleaned home with its four spacious bedrooms will welcome tired travelers into our ultra comfortable beds. A well appointed kitchen and open floor plan is perfect for all. We are only about 600 yds from a private beach Cross Bay, less than 1 mile from the Islands favorite beach Horseshoe Bay, and 1&1/2 miles from Church Bay which is a great snorkeling spot. The Fairmont Golf Course is only a 7 iron away, and is a great way to start your day.

What makes this house unique

You will have plenty of space to lounge around and relax in the almost 4000 square feet of space.

The garden is a perfect location to let the children run around and tire themselves out, or to sit off with your latest book.

Perfect Stay in Bda

perfect property for our stay. Could have been more accommodating with info to bring toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc. We needed more bedding for those who slept on pull out sofa. None available in the linen closets so we made due with sharing sheets. Suppose we could have called owners however they knew in advance that we were a party of 10. Thinking bedding for everyone should have been there. Nevertheless, we enjoyed everything about the property and an amazing visit to the island. We always needed 2 taxis to move around. Bus is close by so we used it a lot during day trips but you must have exact fare or bus token/pass. Private beach access is a bit of a journey. Quick walk but steep hill and steps which was a challenge for our 79 yr old mother. Heck, it was a challenge for me getting back up the hill after a couple of hours in the sea. Again, it was an enjoyable stay!

House was comfortable, location great BUT the description misleading

The 4C's provided ample, comfortable space for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. The location was convenient and access to the private beach and its proximity to the house was an appreciated asset for our family with young children since it is so accessible and easy to walk to. However, the property description is inaccurate and dishonest. We thought we were renting a private home as per the description but we shared the home with two tenant apartments on the lower level. Nowhere in the property description did it state that the property is shared. The photo of the lovely view with Adirondack chairs was staged to suggest spending time enjoying the view but in reality all we could see was multiple tenant automobiles and mopeds parked on the site along with tenants' grills. The view of the golf course and distant ocean could be seen from the living room and master bedroom balconies but one also had the mini parking lot view marring the line of sight. In the interest of full disclosure, the property description should clearly state that one would be renting a multiple unit property . We would have preferred a private home without strangers around us. With this being said, the rest of the property description was accurate. One of the 4 bedrooms not having air-conditioning is a bit problematic but there was a fan that could be used to alleviate some of the heat. The air conditioning in the rest of the house was wonderful to have since during our stay we experienced hot and humid weather. The home is large and airy and provides space to spread out. Our experience overall was positive and we would recommend the house and location - as long as prospective renters are aware of and comfortable with renting a shared space.

Owner's Response: One thing we pride ourselves on is honesty. We are deeply sorry that you felt misled and it is unfortunate that your stay was not a complete success. Our guests are very important and dear to us and would never want any to feel as if they have been deceived. Although there are apartments below the property, our guest do not share their space with anyone else inside the home. The family members who occupy the apartments on site are available to guest for questions, emergencies, maintenance, landscaping and property security. Many of our guests have taken advantage of and greatly appreciated these services. I do my best to make sure any and all question or concerns of our guests are answered truthfully. I will continue to serve the needs of our guests to a very high standard.

Such a great stay for the group!

Cari and her team were incredible hosts! The house was spotless and spacious with plenty of towels and sheets, cookware, a blender for morning smoothies and margs, and wifi and air-conditioning. The views were amazing and we loved having breakfast together at the table. Transportation was a cinch and the nearby restaurants were great. We will be back for sure! Thank you, Cari!

Very Nice

The house is beautiful and located in a convenient spot. A short walk to Henry VIII, a real nice restaurant. It would have been nice to have known beforehand that we needed to bring paper towels, toilet paper and like items. Otherwise, a great week!

Great

Wonderful house, lots of room and great location. We cooked in and found the kitchen well stocked. We really enjoyed the close proximatry to Henry the Eighth pantry for last minute groceries and their fish chowder is the best. The walk to Gibbs hill lighthouse is literally 5 minutes, and beautiful at sunset. All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There are three pristine beaches less than 1 1/2 miles. The closest is in walking distance. Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is only a few steps away, a must do on the list. You will be able to view the whole island on a clear day from the Lighthouse. Snorkeling at Church Bay is flawless. And golf at the Fairmont or Riddles Bay is a must, less than a mile away.

Take a taxi or the local bus 15-20 minutes to Historical Royal Naval Dockyard. Plenty of great things to see and do here.
