The Seneca Lodge is a magnificant, four bedroom, three bath , cedar home designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Purchased in 2012 it has been refurnished and decorated to reflect the ambiance of lodge living in the Finger Lakes. All the wood furnishings were custom made by a Pennsylvania Mennonite artisan exclusively for this home.
As you enter the driveway from the main street, you will notice the tall pines, oaks and maple trees that are surrounded by a lush growth of vincas that line the one side . A display of giant hostas take presence on the other side with hummingbirds feeding daily on their nector. As you enter the house from the large gravel parking area, you are welcomed into a picture-perfect lodge atmosphere with the spacious wrap around deck. Your first inclination is to run around the deck to get that first breathtaking view of the lake!
What you will notice on the deck is that it is furnished comfortably for outdoor meals and lounging. A Weber Grill is conveniently located outside the kitchen near the sturdy dining table and chairs.

What makes this Lodge unique
What don't we love about this property!!- Because it is nestled among tall pines, oaks and maples, you feel secluded from the neighbors. With the large 'A' frame windows and wrap around porch, your view of the lake is breathtaking throughout the day.We love enjoying it with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. There is a wide grassy path that leads to a natural lake frontage of 100 ft. with a flat lawn. A fire pit is available for nightime gatherings , ghost stories and smores. The permanent boat dock boasts a sitting area that has views up and down the lake! There is also a swim ladder that we use throughout the warm summer months. A large maple tree is situated at the corner of the beach and extends cooling shade for relief of the hot summer sun.

Beautiful Home and Perfect Location!!!
We had a fabulous week at your wonderful home! The view, the house, the deck, the dock, beach, kayaks, row boat, flowers, etc were all perfect! We kept commenting throughout the week on how beautiful the landscaping was with flowers everywhere! We also marveled at how wonderfully stocked the kitchen is with anything you could possibly want right there! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had a blast!
Thank you Laura, for your kind words about the Lodge. We hope you all made wonderful family memories and will return again.
Great Vacation Place
We enjoyed kayaking and boating on the lake. Had some campfires at night. It is a beautiful house and property. Not to far from Watkins Glen Falls and local wineries and micro breweries. We did a day trip to Niagara Falls it is about a two and a half hour drive one way. The Finger Lake area is very beautiful. Great place to vacation.
Perfect vacation house
This house was clean, comfortable, spacious and lovely. By far the most family and pet friendly home we have found in the finger lakes so far. The beach was accessible, fun, safe and full of beautiful views by day, amazing sunrises in the morning and laughter-filled bonfires at night. Close to many wineries, bike trails, organic farms and excellent restaurants. Would give this 6 stars if they let me!
Very clean and beautifully maintained.
This home was beautiful. It lived up to all our expectations and more. It was perfect for our family reunion. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. We loved waking up to a beautiful sunrise view every morning! The weather was great, so we got the chance to spend a lot of time outside. We spent time in the water, took many walks, made s'mores around the campfire, canoed, and relaxed on the spacious deck. We also got the chance to visit several breweries and wineries. Grocery stores and restaurants were within 10 minutes. We loved our visit here, and would highly recommend it.
We are in love with this location. The owners do a wonderful job making you feel at home. The house is so clean and comfortable.
We had a blast! Thank you Mr and Mrs Hood

Great Pet Friendly Escape on the Lake!
We are so pleased to have found such a beautiful home in such a perfect setting, one that also permited us to bring our 3 year old standard poodle. The home has every comfort imaginable and then some. I am a huge fan of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in.
The home is well maintained and the beautiful landscaping added the perfect touch. We were thrilled the large deck area was gated on all sides so that our dog could roam freely without having us worry about her. The use of the canoes and kayaks made it a true lake house vacation. That was an added bonus for sure.
I would recommend this house without hesitation to anyone looking for a serene, picturesque setting to enjoy with family and friends.
