This five star rated townhouse is located steps away from the free shuttle bus stop to the ski lifts - about an one minute ride to the lifts. Convenient enough to return for lunch and get right back on the slopes. You are only a short 2 mile ride to town as well - yet still a private / quiet location. The property borders Cucumber Gulch Reserve and Breckenridge Nordic Center. It's not uncommon to have moose right in your backyard ! Also, Elk, Fox, Deer, and other wildlife reside in the specious preservation area located just outside your backdoor. Nordic ski trail right out backdoor as well, and world class Alpine sking is an free one minute shuttle ride to the base of Breckenridge peak 8. This shutte comes by about every 10 minutes and the stop is less then an half block from your front door.

Of course, the inside accommodations of this beautiful town home are just as satisfying as the wilderness around it. 2200 sq feet of mountain luxury that will leave you wanting for nothing. Unlike many units, there is no one above you, and no one below you. The vaulted ceilings and expansive windows provide an abundance of natural light. The living area is open to both the kitchen and the dining area creating a spacious and comfortable area made cozy by a warming gas fireplace. With all this open space, you can choose to lounge on the couch or enjoy the solitude of the private deck or patio. The large kitchen is fully stocked and secure high speed WiFi is also provided. After a long hard day of skiing, hiking, etc. relax in our brand new private 6 person Bullfrog Hot Tub. For your convenience there is a also a gas grill.

Each bedroom offers plenty of space complete with it's own bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the bathroom features a jetted deep tub and separate shower. The other two bedrooms each have a queen size bed. There is also 1 hideaway sofa for a child on the loft outside of the Master bedroom. We would like to restrict this home to parties no greater then seven. There are T.V.s in every bedroom and living room as well.

Upon retirement, I fulfilled a desire to 'make a difference' in the community, especially in the Urban Core while also leading a nationally known Christian ministry, (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), for coaches as well as young men and women. Seeing lives changed in a very positive way gave my wife and I great pleasure and Hope for countless others and their future.

Why Dave & De'Anna chose Northwest

Forty years ago, our family first discovered Breckenridge, Colorado. We made yearly trips to this historic and quaint town surrounded by majestic mountains. Yearly, we made at least two trips to this paradise and enjoyed winter sports such as skiing and snow boarding in the winter. In the summer, our family enjoyed many hikes, trail rides on horses, biking and so much more. The changes in scenery and the beauty of the earth and glory of the skies truly were captivating. This has resulted in years of great memories for our family including our two children and three grandchildren.

What makes this townhome unique

We moved to this townhouse from a nearby group of (sometimes noisy) condos which would give us a preferred quiet atmosphere adjacent to Cucumber Gulch forest preserve. Our easy access afforded us with thousands of hours of hiking, biking, and just relaxing and dreaming. We knew that the units were constructed with quality materials and workmanship becoming the most attractive homes in the area. They are so readily assessable to the base of Peak 8 or a quick trip down ski-hill road to the grocery store or our favorite breakfast stop-Daylight Donuts. During the day, we could easily see Peak 8 from our front porch and on a clear night, we saw the most glorious array of stars from the hot tub or back balcony. We loved getting to know our wonderful neighbors who preferred the solitude of the area and its unique setting. We have seen deer, red fox, moose, a variety of birds, beaver, muskrat, flowers, fern, beaver ponds, flowing streams and so much more. Out the back door, the Nordic Ski area is just a few minutes away. There, you can rent light weight / short cross-country skis, aluminum snow shoes, etc perfect for a great work-out and it is relatively inexpensive too. Trails are marked for beginners, intermediate or experts. The scenery is breathtaking - wherever you go. They make it easy for cross-country skiing with tracks provided and fun too. During the ski season, one can catch a free shuttle on its last stop to the base of Peak 8. Then, you can transfer to peaks 7, 9 or 10 and enjoy all degrees of skiing from beginners to experts never repeat skiing on the same slope twice. The chair-lifts are excellent and there is a diverse array of runs for all skiers - beginners to expert.

Excellent location, well equiped town home with excellent property managers

Ideal location, close to all your needs but still offering plenty of privacy. Layout of town home ideal for everyone. Home was wonderfully equipped with no items overlooked from the kitchen, laundry room, bedding/towels all generously provided and games, cards and movies all available for use. Property Manager, David went above and beyond to answer all questions extremely timely AND provided additional insight on the area that was very beneficial and appreciated. All expectations were exceeded - Hope to travel back and have the opportunity to stay again! Thank you.

Beautiful and comfortable town home, fantastic layout including a fireplace and perfect location!

The town home felt like home and was super clean. It had a great layout for our two young adult children where they each had their own bed and bath and it was great for us with a master suite. We enjoyed the fireplace on the main level and the kitchen which was stocked with great pots, pans, cooking utensils and soap for the dishwasher. We also enjoyed having a washer/dryer and also stocked with soap,. The hot tub was also a great thing to have after a long day of skiing.

The furnishing were also very nice from the furniture, linens, towels etc, all very nice. And the main level was stocked with games, cards, movies etc.

The location couldn't have been better. It was a great location for catching the bus to the ski lift and also a great central location to drive into town for shopping or to grab a bite to eat.

When we go back to Breck, we will stay here again. Nothing like being on vacation and feeling like you're at home.

Very nice property and location

Condo was clean and well furnished. We have two teenagers and set-up of condo was perfect to give enough space for all. Location is quite with Cucumber Gulch out the back door making it seem more private than many other locations in the area. Owners are very easy to work with.

The best condo

We have had many winter ski vacations in Breck over the decades. This condo is by far the best equipped, nicest condition, and most accessible to the shuttle and slopes of any of the locations we have rented in the past. The condo is very quiet with a well organized floor plan. Our group of three retired couples could not be happier with this condo.

The place was excellent. Easily accessible to the mountain via the bus. Perfect spot for snow shoeing. The home had great space with all the amenities and comfortable mattresses. One couldn't ask for more.

Awesome! Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

We had a group of 3 adult couples staying 5 nights and this townhome provided way more than we expected. Plenty of room...clean and well equipped. Each couple had their own bedroom/bathroom so we all had great private space. Kitchen is nice and open and the dining area is huge! The hot tub was great and couldn't ask for a better way to relax every day after coming in off the slopes. Having use of the garage was especially nice.

Location can't be beat! A short walk or VERY short shuttle ride to peaks 7 & 8, and a 2 minute drive (or free shuttle ride!) into town.

We felt so at home and all six of us were extremely pleased with out great find for our Breck trip! We have NO reason to consider anywhere else for future visits!

The adjacent Cucumber gulch is a beautiful 188-acre open space preserve. It features 77 acres of wetlands, which are uncommon in the West and even rarer at Breckenridge considerable altitude of almost 10,000 feet. The Fen Wetlands are really unique and extremely rare. They’re regarded as irreplaceable because they took 10,000 years to form. They actually are groundwater-fed. It provides perfect habitat for the endangered boreal toad, along with moose, elk, deer, mountain lion, beaver, and over forty-seven species of birds. It’s hard to believe that such a wildlife sanctuary exists literally right outside your backdoor ! It is not uncommon to see moose on the property.
