About Fred Hector
I was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley. I work as a Lieutenant with the Walla Walla Fire Department and am also a member of the Bluewood Ski Patrol. I bought this house in 2011 with the dream to someday raise a family in it. I met my wife, Stephanie, who is also a Walla Walla native, during the summer of 2013 when she moved home after living in Seattle for 9 years. We got married under the love arbor in the backyard in the fall of 2014. The following year, we were blessed with our sweet baby boy, Leland. One day we plan to move back into this house and raise our family. I love the Walla Walla Valley and am excited to share the charm and beauty of my town with others which is why I decided to turn my home into a vacation rental Walla Walla is known for having the friendliest people on earth and I hope that you feel that way while you are here. My home is your home, and if there is anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable please do not hesitate to call. Additionally, if you are here over the winter months I would love the chance to introduce you to the backwoods skiing of Bluewood. I hope you enjoy your stay and will return year after year.

MOUNTAIN VIEW LODGE IN WALLA WALLA, WA
IN APRIL, DURING OUR VISIT, THIS WONDERFUL HOME SAT IN THE MIDDLE OF 10 ACRES OF OF VERY GREEN WINTER WHEAT. THE BEAUTIFUL HOME ACCOMMODATED 14 COLLEGE FRIENDS FOR FIVE DAYS OF WINE TASTING AND GREAT EATING. THE OWNER FRED COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL. HE WAS FULL OF IDEAS FOR RESTAURANTS, WINERIES, AND HISTORIC PLACES TO VISIT. EVERYTHING WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND EVERY NEED MET.
THE ONE REQUEST WE WOULD HAVE WOULD BE THAT BETTER DIRECTIONS BE LEFT FOR OPERATING THE TELEVISION. LUCKILY WE HAD TWO ENGINEERS IN THE GROUP WHO FINALLY MASTERED TURNING ON THE NEWS.
Quiet, peaceful, family-friendly destination
Awesome home on a dead end private road in the Walla Walla wheatfields. Well stocked kitchen, great barbecue on the patio, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Plenty of room for all our guests (8 adults and 3 kids) to sleep, eat, and do their own thing during the day. Definitely looking forward to returning again!
Great property in Walla Walla wine country
This is a big house on a big lot with great mountain views. It's within walking distance of several good wineries and has a fully stocked kitchen.
Clean and well maintained!!
Our family used Fred’s Home for a weekend get together that included a 4 year olds birthday party! There was plenty of room for a very large family and guests. Being able to spend all of time together and not go from hotel to hotel to see each other was worth every penny. Fred was very attentive to our needs and was available to answering and questions. Great home with a fantastic view !
Spacious and beautiful home in great location near South Side wineries
We had a super fun couples weekend at Fred’s place. Plenty of room for everyone, well-appointed home. We will stay here again next time we’re in Walla Walla!
