Did I mention the gorgeous and expansive gardens and privacy? Oh yes...what about that deck that overlooks your own private vineyard? Did I mention the downtown location?
Bob - Thank you for letting us rent the Sonoma Farmhouse. We really enjoyed ourselves on your property. The location was perfect, the house was clean and well maintained and the back garden and vineyard was fantastic! If you lived in San Diego, I would hire your landscaping firm to do my backyard. We were all really impressed with what you did with the space. It felt really relaxing and magical out there. The flowers, the trees, the fruit, the walkways the lights....really perfect. Nice job! By the way, what is that structure in the middle of the backyard? Were were also wondering what you did with your grapes. Do you make your own wine? Thanks again. I will surely consider this rental for my next winde country visit. Liat

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming "farmhouse." The backyard setting was just gorgeous. The location is perfect and within a couple blocks walking distance from Sonoma Square with lots of shops, restuarants and a great park for the kids. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and everyone had a nice time. One couple stayed in cottage which was perfect. Our host, Bob, was very helpful and accomodating. Highly recommend and we would definitely love to stay again!
Excellent location, comfortable cozy cottage for our family of 5.. plenty of walking, running and biking trails and walking distance to all great restaurants. Wine tasting all within walking. The house and guest cottage were wonderful and the backyard setting a beautiful private oasis..we will be back again!
Loved the place! It was a perfect retreat after drinking wine all day. This was the parents 50th wedding anniversary trip and first time to wine country. We had a great time in Sonoma and the house was within walking distance to everything we needed, including restaurants and the grocery store. The house was very well equipped to allow us to stay in and cook meals and the grill out back was very useful. The yard was an unexpected surprise having all that space in the middle of town. Very clean home and well cared for gardens.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation in Sonoma. Talk about a perfect setting. A charming home and guest cottage and fantastic backyard. The back yard deck was a wonderful place to start every day and end every evening. A private oasis with your very own vineyard. You can also walk easily to the core of Sonoma. No need to drive to dinner or shopping. Very clean and with everything you need for your stay. We would definitely come back! Loved it!!!
We stayed at the Sonoma Farmhouse last week for 2 nights and fell in love with the property. The pictures don't do it justice! We had 6 adults, so we rented both the main house and the cottage. The house is very well maintained, clean, and very charming. It's a short walk from downtown Sonoma and Whole Foods. I will definitely stay here again on future trips! My sister accidentally left her spare keys in the house, and the owner was nice enough to contact us (we didn't even realize they were missing!) and mail them back to her!
This house was perfect! We were traveling with 2 other couples and with the cottage in back it worked great! The house was spotless and very well maintained and very comfortable. The backyard was awesome--complete with a barbeque and vineyard! I'm keeping this house on speed dial next time we go to Sonoma!
Winetasting, Historic Sights, Restaurants, Cultural Museums, Hiking and Walking Trails, Art Exhibits, Theatre, vineyards all Within Easy Walking Distance to the home.
