Situated on the Corridor trail between Mary Jane and Winter Park ski areas only 67 miles from Denver, this quietly secluded ski-in/ski-out studio condominium at Iron Horse Resort has a view of the Continental Divide off its oversized patio and is seconds from skiing. The Corridor trail is accessible by a foot bridge and is a one minute ski, ten minute walk, or quick shuttle down to the Village at Winter Park. Our condo is in the sweet spot for skiing, riding, biking, fantastic hikes and village nightlife.

Ideally located at the base of the resort, the new Village is just the start of an exciting journey for Winter Park Resort. The Village is a bustling, highly interactive locale with pedestrian-only brick and cobblestone main streets featuring shops, studios and galleries, surrounded by magnificent lodges, tasteful homes and towering mountains. The dining options range from seasonal dining on site, to the Cheeky Monk, a Belgian beer cafe which offers imported beers hand-selected to pair with the flavorful dining menu highlighting the uniqueness, style, and taste of each beer; to Lime, an American Cantina, a great place for a taste of the Southwest and margaritas; as well as everything in between. Too big a day on the Mary Jane Bumps to walk? Access the free shuttle to anywhere in the Mary Jane/Winter Park Resort from the front door of the building.

This desirable first-floor condo sleeps four (queen sized Murphy bed and a full sized sofa bed) and has a full kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, oversized patio, free wireless internet, cable TV/music, DVD, and VCR. Great little place for a ski weekend!

We had a lovely time at Iron Horse Resort. The ski in ski out location was awesome and the condo had everything we could need! We are definitely gong to try to come back in the spring. Thanks again!

Property was nice in its proximity to the Village and town of Winter Park

The room was good. Loved the Murphy bed. The only complaint I have was the room location in the resort. It was on the 1st floor right next to the entrance to the pool. Lots of traffic and we couldn't keep the windows open because of this. The room was hot.

I would stay at the resort again but would want a room on a higher level.

Very nice

Very quaint little condo. We didn't plan on being in the condo for most of our stay in Winter Park so it worked perfectly. It was nice being able to walk right out to the pool area with the kids.

I stayed for a week and it was wonderful! The property is beautiful. The condo was comfortable. House keepers were available everyday if needed anything. Great communication with the owners. I would definitely recommend it and stay again!

Good value

This was a good value for the money. Good location, but the facilities could be better. The hours of the weight room seemed odd. I'd like to work out earlier than 8am. The massage office seemed pointless. The BBQ grill ignitor didn't work. The freezer in the refrigerator leaked and ruined some of the food we brought. The dishwasher was loud, seemed like it was going to drop it's transmission. The DVD player didn't work. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was falling off and needed to be propped up to not fall. There was some mold in the bathroom tub. Overall, if I had paid more, I would've been upset. It just needs a bit updating and fine tuning. But until the mold is gone and the refrigerator gets fixed, I won't be back. Also, it seemed a bit ridiculous to have to remember an 11 digit access code. Cut it down to 4 or 5.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. I'm the owner of the condo and I would like to address the items you had mentioned. Let me say this before we continue. This is the first review as well as calls directly to us where we have heard of most the issues you have listed. 1.The weight room hours unfortunately are the same as the pool hours because they are accessed thru the same door. The pool and hot tub area is fairly close to some of the units and the hours are set so everyone can enjoy either sleeping in a bit or relaxing in their condos in the evening. 2.Massage office is not open 24/7. There is a sign on the door with a number to call to have them come to the massage room to give you a massage.I also believe the number is in the elevators. 3.The bbq grills igniter sometimes doesn't work from over use. I know the maintenance people on site or myself would have loved to hear about that issue. It would have been resolved quickly. 4.You mentioned the appliances having issues. Again, this is a first to my knowledge. We have gone ahead and bought all stainless steel appliances that will be in our unit by October 1st. We use our condo as well as rent it. Knowing of these issues in advance will make our guests and ourselves enjoy the stay more. 5. The cabinet door is another item I wish you would have contacted me directly about. We will have that looked at and repaired if necessary A.S.A.P. 6.The mold issue has been addressed.Our cleaning company has been going thru a change over and we were assured that the mold would be taken care of. 7. The code system has its pros and cons. Alot of our guests like the idea of not having to carry around an additional card that could get lost or stolen. Or Some guests just put the code on their smart phones. In closing I'd like to say to future guest that we need feedback to help make our unit the best it can be for the money that you spend. When you choose our unit we hope you do not hesitate to either call our rental agency or call us direct with any issues. We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible. easy access to skiing, loved the pool and hot tub

We enjoyed our stay at Iron horse. The bed was comfortable and the roll out bed was fine for the kids. Liked the hangers for the swimsuits. So convenient to ski in and out. Had a little trouble with the toilet...backed up a few time but was fixed by maintenance.Will stay here again.The garage door code wasn't working.
