Overview

About the property

Apartment, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (Sleeps 2-4)

This luxury apartment was just completely renovated and was finely decorated with contemporary furniture.

There is a master bedroom with a king size bed, a living/dining room with a queen size sofa-bed, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker and a nice and quiet patio with outdoor sofas and lots of plants. The apartment is very quiet and bright. The building is really nice and dates back to the XVI century.

The area (Trastevere) is one of the nicest of the centre and it's famous for its fascinating ancient streets and the great choice of traditional restaurants and lively cafes. Supermarkets, groceries, open air market are all at close walking distance. The building is located in Piazza Santa Rufina, a charming square dominated by a medieval bell tower.

The neighbourhood is very safe. It is convenient for public transportation and you would get very quickly and easily everywhere. It is also pleasant to walk to the main sites of interest, as you would cross many nice places in the ancient centre.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The apartment is not available for parties and events of any kind.

Renters below 25 years of age are not admitted unless accompanied by parents or elder relatives.

The perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience renting an apartment instead of a hotel room. Thankfully it was a great choice. Paolo greeted us and went over everything we needed to know about the apartment and the area. He is quick to respond to any issues or questions as well. The apartment is spacious and was very clean, with a lot of sunlight. Everything you need is provided and the air conditioning works great. The kitchen has all the essentials if you wanted to cook or eat and it is fully equipped, there is even a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The patio space is a relaxing and great area to unwind. The area around the apartment is incredible especially at night. Lots of cafes, bars and entertainment in the streets. It is a lively area but surprisingly you do not hear any noise in the apartment. The bed is very comfortable after a long day of touring. The sofa bed as well is comfortable. We walked to most of the attractions or took the tram and subway. It is also a bonus that the apartment is on the first floor so you don't have to lug your bags up a staircase. We felt very safe and secure and loved having a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our family and friends.

Great location and great verandah but needs some attention

  • 3 of 5

The location is great and the outdoor verandah is great. The fridge has no freezer section which makes it hard for ice lovers like us, the pull out couch is not very comfortable and the air conditioners were not working very well, owner said she was going to get them checked. There is no toaster which made it a bit difficult for out child who loves toast. Great for a couple but would not recommend if you have kids and have to use the pull out couch to sleep on.

Owner's Response: We are really sorry that the air conditioning system got broken, unfortunately we had to call the technicians 3 times before we finally got rid of the problem. We changed the mattress of the sofa bed and now it is much more comfortable. Thanks for your feedback and again apologize for the issue with the air con.

Location & Comfort in Vibrant Trastevere!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent 6 wonderful nights here. The Trastevere is a vibrant area and there were many restaurants, cafes, shops, and street vendors just steps from the front door of this apartment. The taxi stand, tram and bus stations are just a couple of blocks away, but we walked everywhere from here - to the Vatican, to Villa Borghese, to the Colosseum and Termini. Given all the activity in the area, the apartment was surprisingly quiet. Definitely, the most comfortable bed we had during our entire trip! Though we didn't really use it, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook. The Nespresso machine was very nice to have especially since we are accustomed to much larger quantities of coffee than the cafes serve at one time. The patio was spacious, comfortable, private and covered so we used it even in the rain. Paolo was patient with my questions prior to booking and was very easy to work with. Isabella met us at the apartment, provided a nice overview and gave us a list of recommended restaurants and shops. I loved this apartment, its location, and the Trastevere - I would love to stay here again!

Excellent Apartment for visiting Rome

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent 5 days in this apartment and it was perfect for exploring Rome. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable - excellent bed, good hot water, everything you need to cook if you want to do so, air conditioning, washing machine, comfortable sitting areas (inside and on the patio) and even an umbrella - which we needed. It is also very quiet. The location is fabulous - easy walking distance to the Vatican and the Colosseo and you can hop the metro at the Colosseo. Travestere is busy but not as crazy as the downtown and it offers many good restaurants so you can have a good dinner away from the overwhelming crowds. Everything you need is nearby - coffee bar 1/2 block, grocery store a couple of blocks, etc. Paolo is very helpful and arranged for van to pick us (and our bicycles) up at the airport and deliver us to the train station at the end of our stay which made our visit very easy. I would easily return to this lovely apartment again.

Excellent apartment in Trastevere

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Rome. The location was great, near many restaurants and bars for espresso in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well in the 40 degree heat! We did not hear any street noise and the patio was a relaxing space to spend the evenings. We did not use the kitchen to cook meals but it was adequate and clean. The bathroom was small but had a great shower and plenty of hot water. I would highly recommend this apartment, a short walk to bridges to the centre of Rome.

Charming apartment in great location

  • 4 of 5

Stayed here for a week and loved the location. Paolo, the Manager of the apartment arranged for transport for us from the airport to the apartment and to the train station at the end of our stay. Upon arrival we were expecting to be met by the owner to walk us through the apartment, but she sent her young son instead, who did an acceptable job. Having said this, we found the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and WiFi worked well. We also used the clothes washing machine which was nice to have access to. As others have commented, the sunroom was a great place to enjoy cocktails after a day of touring. The Trastevere area is a great area to stay and is very walkable to all the sights of Rome. We would definitely recommend this apartment.
