La casa di Titta was built in the 18th century, is one ancient stone house, is divided in to 2 apartments, a is occupied by the proprietary, the other is for rent and has its own entrance through a private garden with a sensational panoramic view of ancient oak woods, a river valley and hilltop villages surrounding the hamlet of San Vincenti. The apartment is accessed from the garden through glass doors set into a brick archway leading you into the light kitchen. Walls are of natural local stone and plaster with ceilings of characteristic chestnut beams and terra cotta tiles. The adjacent dining area is furnished with a generous table and 6 chairs. From the kitchen a few steps lead you to the comfortable lounge with sofa (bed), armchairs, a wood burning stove and TV; a terracotta arched window frames the beautiful view over the Chianti hills. A further few steps take you into a hallway off which is the master bedroom and en-suite shower room. Another double or twin bedroom has its own entrance to the garden. The garden where is the swimming pool (10 x 4 meter) between the olive trees and has breathtaking views.
I make the my own olive oil and i have the vegetable garden. The crop depends on the season and includes a wide variety of vegetables such as tomatoes, salad, zucchini, eggplants, peppers, and many more. I use organic methods for the cultivation of our plants. If you enjoy cooking, you can pick your vegetables and herbs in the vegetable garden.
La casa di Titta is a perfect base, for exploring the local hilltop villages nearby or the wonderful renaissance cities Siena, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Cortona and Florence can all be reached in around an hour or less by car.

We stayed at Casa di Titta for a week and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Isabella and Luigi were so kind and gracious that we always felt right at home. The house and site are exactly as in the pictures (and even better in person). Our hosts thought of everything and supplies in the house were thoughtful, and anticipated our every need. Access to the vegetable gardens, herbs, and fruit trees was above and beyond. San Vincenti is small, remote, and peaceful but reaching bigger towns was just a short car ride away when we wanted to do a little more site seeing. If you happen to be in the region on the first Sunday of the month be sure to go to Arezzo for the antiques flee market and great people watching.
Many thanks to Luigi and Isabella for treating us more like family than just guests. We enjoyed meeting you and would stay with you again!
I am very happy for the review, I must say that the house of Titta feel the lack of your liveliness and sympathy. I hope to meet again.

Wonderful relaxing vacation !
We stayed at the Casa Di Titta the second half of July. We enjoyed our stay with Isabella and Luigi. They pampered us with fresh vegetables (zucchini, tomato's, green beans, insalata.....) and fruits. They surprised us with a welcome packet of fresh fruits (enough for a week), delicious bread, homemade jam, biscotti's, delicious coffee and Chianti from the house. We arrived late at night and we didn't have to worry to go out for breakfast, nor lunch the next day. We occupied the basement level of an old Tuscan farmhouse leaning against the hill of the little village San Vincente, with a few houses, but a very interesting history.
We found the house looking exactly as the pictures showed on the VBRO site. The real Casa though is much more beautiful and exciting. The owners occupy the upper part of the house, but were very conscious about our privacy. On the other hand they were very reachable if we needed something.
Our apartment had a small Tuscan style kitchen, where we could prepare simple but delicious meals. We usually had our meals outside under the grapevine covered patio, where we also had a grill to our disposal. All the utilities mentioned were present.
We could find all we needed for our meals in Luigi's garden, the Cooperativa, a huge grocery store in Montevarchi, where we could find anything we needed and more.
The small wood stove for cooler days added character to the cozy living room.
Both bedrooms were decorated with taste. All linen and bedding was provided new and clean and were changed weekly. The bathrooms were very clean and provided with towels, soaps, hair dryer and there was ample warm water.
This stay was perfect for us. We wanted peace and quiet and the first night we couldn't get to sleep, because it was soooooo quiet. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, made excursions to Montevarchi, Sienna (one hour away), Arezzo (about 45 min), Firenze (about 2 hours) and enjoyed the swimming pool.
Luigi organized a tour of the local winery, which we enjoyed very much and where we learned everything about the meticulous winemaking process of Chianti wines.
To get to Vicenti was a bit of a challenge to us. Although Luigi sent us very extensive directions, our GPS system lead us in circles. But don't hesitate to call Luigi if you get lost, he immediately came to get us.
It is certainly a stay to write down in our "Good Memory Book". We loved the adventure, but most the hospitality from our hosts!!
