Our condo in the Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort enjoys a private and pristine setting on the Gore Creek side of the building on the ground floor (no stairs!).
Our condo is designed for fun and comfort. We used to have a sailboat and we learned to live big in a small space. We’ve tried to accomplish this in our condo. Although a 1 bedroom, we have two bathrooms which make it very comfortable and private for a family of three or four or two couples. As you come in the front door there’s a leather bench to sit and take off your shoes or boots. Boot dryers are available and a must-have for drying and warming your boots after a snowy day on the slopes. The living room has beautiful wood floors with a thick rug. The fireplace has a new see-through insert that cranks out the heat if you want a fire and firewood is supplied. The brown leather sleeper sofa has an upgraded mechanism for the bed and is sturdier than most. A flat-screen TV is wall-mounted with cable and a dvd. A square dining table is perfect for games or dinner and extends to seat up to eight if you have other friends in town. There are bar stools at the counter which make it easy to talk to the cook while they’re in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful dishware and glasses. If you like to bake there is baking equipment. Our kitchen is set up to easily cook and bake in. We provide basic spices, organic olive oil and coffee. It has updated wood countertops and backsplash and is open to the living/dining room. From all areas there is a beautiful view into the trees that line Gore Creek outside the front door.
The hall closet has space for ski coats with extra space available. There’s a full bath off the hallway and it has a cool glass vessel sink on top of a new vanity with lots of storage. The carpeted bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, nightstands, and a spacious closet. There is a remodeled, private half bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.
White, 100% cotton sheets are provided in both sleeping areas so that you know it’s clean! There are clean comforters for both beds and comfy pillows. Cotton and bamboo towels in both bathrooms are clean and fluffy.
The Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort has a heated 25 meter pool, hot tubs, sauna and steam room, state-of-the art gym and numerous fitness classes including tennis lessons and tennis courts. There is a $25.00/day fee to use the VRC. Massages and personal training are available (fee required) as well. Snowshoeing, fishing, biking, hiking and beautiful walks are some of the fun activities that can be enjoyed right outside the front door. There is a park right around the corner that has a pond and a great kid's playground.
We are very excited because Blu's restaurant, a Vail tradition has moved from its town location to the Vail Racquet Club.
Vail is just a few minutes away and the free shuttle system runs every 15 minutes during ski season and stops in front of Vail Racquet Club. Once at the Vail Transportation Center it’s a short walk to the slopes or you can find additional transportation there to Avon, Beaver Creek, Arrowhead or locations within Eagle County.
Our condo is rented directly through us and is not part of the Resort. Therefore, the front desk, concierge and lobby amenities are not available for use. Please call the owner, Susan for key handling, housekeeping and maintenance.

About Susan Bradley
I am a Colorado native that grew up skiing with my brothers. I grew up in Littleton and graduated from CU. I worked at the Polo Shop in Vail in my twenties and I knew someday I wanted to own a condo in Vail. I now am in Real Estate in Denver. My daughter, who is 18, and I have spent many years staying at the Racquet Club and she loves it there as much as I do. We love to cross-country ski together on Vail Golf Course and we have spent countless hours with our labradoodle at the park. Of course the club, pool and hot tubs are a huge attraction. My boyfriend also grew up skiing in Vail and he and his buddies are always 'first chair'. His daughter lives in Vail and her boyfriend manages Base Mountain Sports in Beaver Creek. Vail truly is home to all of us. We know that you will love it as much as we do.
Susan Bradley purchased this Condo in 2012
Why Susan Bradley chose Vail
The private location within the complex, the club and tennis courts, hiking right out the door, the fun!
What makes this Condo unique
The creekside of the Racquet Club has always been a favorite of mine. It's beautiful right out the front door.

It's adequate for what you need. It is a basement condo.
This place was clean and adequate for our stay. It was a basement apartment which I was surprised to find out. The only window is at the front by the door you enter through and one in the bedroom, which is like a basement escape window basically and is underneath the porch of the unit above. For this reason, it is very noisy. If you're in Colorado to ski or hike or be busy, this place is fine to come back to and crash. I was in CO for knee surgery so it was kind of a depressing spot to be holed up in while I was stuck in bed, but for the price it was fine.
The condo is actually a first floor unit (not a basement unit) and opens onto a patio and grassy area that goes down to the river. The bedroom window is a full size which you can see in the pictures.
As per other reviews, many people have stayed here and have been very happy and it works great for post-surgery stays.
Great place with a pretty setting.
Susan has a great spot next to the creek, very pretty. She was easy to communicate with, her condo was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities. It is a ground floor unit, which was perfect for us as my son had surgery at the nearby Steadman Clinic and was on crutches. Thanks Susan for making our not so fun trip more comfortable.
Very nice and cozy place
Nice place. Great owner to work with. Very accommodating. Owner was trustworthy and honorable.
Owner was type of person that cares for her guests and their experiences. I would rent from her again.
It was nice, well stocked and quiet
Good would stay again
Great Place at a Great Price
This property is definitely the best deal in town and has great access to the shuttle. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again!
Location of Racquet Club is phenomenal. It is minutes away from Vail but has a secluded feel. The local bus goes right into Vail with an easy walk to the ski lifts, world-class shopping and fabulous restaurants. From the Vail Transportation Center you can take a bus to cross-country skiing, Lionshead or Beaver Creek ski areas. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing areas are accessible a couple blocks from the condo. Fishing and hiking are right out the door. There is a fun park with a pond and playground around the corner from the condo. East Vail is also a beautiful place to take walks in summer or in the winter.
