Pleasant space, good night's sleep, warm hospitality
Ashley and the dogs welcomed us as the rain began. We woke to the rain continuing in the morning. Front porch coffee wake-up was pleasant. Cooked our meals and cooled food in the frig till departure. Very accommodating and comfortable. Hope to return one day.
Nice quiet place
Good muffins in morning would stay again If In the area
A very chill place that's far enough from the city life
Ms. Ashley was very friendly and appreciative of the help around the property. Staying there was overall relaxing to the point that I did not want to go anywhere and even took a nap with one of the canines. They're both friendly, btw, especially the mini-horse size one.
Be sure to let her know your general height. The upstairs shower ceiling, which is slanted, was just high enough for me (5'7") to be comfortable. Speaking of upstairs, the bedroom felt really fancy in a nostalgic way.
I definitely plan on going back someday.
Glad you enjoyed your stay!! Always appreciate help mucking stalls, thanks!
The house is 150 years old with modern amenities. The shower is located under the eve of the roof and although you can’t hold a barn dance in it, 6’4” folks can shower in it.
See ya next time!
Beautiful, peaceful farm home full of charm.
Ashley helped to make my first visit to the Midwest a great one. Everything about this place is special starting from the owner and dogs, to the sunsets and grounds.
Simple and charming
Very pleasant experience. Like stepping back in time to a friendly, simple life.
Owner, friendly, fixed a wonderful shepherds pie for dinner. Shared the tv room with the dogs which is fine with us because we love big dogs. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
