About Teri Purvis

Both my husband and I grew up near the Lake Tahoe area and spent many family vacations here. We met in Colorado where we have lived for 40+ years. We both share fond memories of Lake Tahoe as children and now have the opportunity to make new memories with our Children (3) and Grandchildren (7). We also enjoy time with family living in the Carson/Minden area. We think of it being the best of both worlds.

Teri Purvis purchased this townhome in 1997

Why Teri Purvis chose Lake Tahoe West Shore CA

The Tahoe retreat is a family favorite any season of the year. Whether the snow is flying or the towns are buzzing with people, or the quiet time in between seasons, it is always the best place to be. Every time we leave we have to ask ourselves, “Why are we leaving” and can’t wait for our next adventure to Lake Tahoe. We keep finding new things to do during each stay. In the coming year we plan to conquer the Rubicon Trail! We hope to find return guests who can enjoy our home and treat it like their own year after year.

What makes this townhome unique

Here a just a few “can’t live without” amenities that are within walking distance or just across the street from your Vacation Home:

Westside Pizza; After you earn your turns, stop in for a cold one (8 beers on tap) and check out our great menu! We have TVs, pool and foosball tables and a friendly staff... fun!

PDQ Marketplace has the best deli, bread is baked daily, a great selection of “adult beverages”, fresh produce, movie rental, if you don’t have it they will.

Homewood Mountain Resort, “Tahoe’s most beautiful Resort”, is just 2 miles from your front doorstep!

Reno/Tahoe International Airport is 58 miles or 1 hour and 18 minutes to your destination.

With an average annual snowfall of over 400 inches, 12 world class alpine ski resorts, and the largest concentration of ski resorts in the country, Lake Tahoe winters are the whitest and brightest in North America! Come discover what the locals know: any activity, from Olympic caliber downhill and cross country skiing, backcountry skiing to snowshoeing, ice skating to snowmobiling, shopping to gaming to dining, is best in North Lake Tahoe because our winter wonderland is blessed with more than 274 days of sun annually. The options for Lake Tahoe winter entertainment are more than diverse – they are unique and infinite and need only one element to make them complete: you.

A Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

A comfortable getaway for families or friends, in a great location close to the water and the mountains. We found the place very clean and the owners were so generous with amenities. They truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Great location, clean and well stocked with essentials.

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed being so close to the lake. Just a few minute walk to the dock. Saw s couple of gorgeous sunsets! Home was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of essential items (glasse, dishes, spices, cleaning supplies,etc.). Only negative was the mattresses in the upstairs bedrooms were squishy and not very comfortable for adults. Kids didn't mind. Would stay there again.

Magical times!!!

  • 5 of 5

It was absolutely magical this time of the year in Tahoma. We enjoyed our stay very much. The days rushed on!!

We can't wait for the next adventure in Lake Tahoe. Westside Pizza, Homewood Mountain Resort, Incline Village (where we visited a nephew who lives there), Reno, snowfall at Christmas; it was all so gorgeous. We are already making plans to come back again.

We had a great time at Teri & Bob´s wonderful home. It was clean and well equipped house, we had everything we needed. All was perfect! I really recommend it.

Owner's Response: Dear Sergio Thank you so much for your gracious review. Thank you also for taking such good care of our home, my management team said you are welcome any time and that they couldn't even tell you had been there. In addition thank you for your kind gift to Bob and I, also our invitation to visit you in Brazil. I certainly hope to do so one day. Please let us know when you plan to return, we will welcome you warmly. Kind Regards Teri Purvis

The Purvis home was everything we could have asked for!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay in Tahoma. We were there for a wedding weekend with six adults sharing the unit. We all had plenty of room, the unit was very clean, and all the necessities were provided. We especially appreciated how close the unit is to the lake (less than 5 minute walk) and the use of the large canoe that we took out several times. We would definitely return here on our next visit.

Great place to enjoy the West Shore.

  • 5 of 5

This condo is very well maintained and close to the attractions along the west shore. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, biking and hiking. The kids found some especially high rocks to jump off into the lake down at Rubicon Point. The road improvements made road cycling down to DL Bliss Park a whole lot better as well, and it'll be great when the road works are completed along the whole west side.
