A comfortable house that is a wonderful way to enjoy the best of downtown Hood River. Decks, yard, steam room, and wonderful modern kitchen. 4 bedroom, 3 bath. Outdoor BBQ. 3 level decks. Private yard.
We had a fabulous stay in Hood River! The house we rented was spacious and clean. We appreciated the open layout and the great view of Mt Adams off the deck. Our manager, Amy, was a pleasure to work with, was easy to get in touch with and made sure our vacation was hassle-free. I would highly recommend doing business with her.
Had a wonderful week with family in this beautiful house with great views of Mt Adams and the Columbia Gorge. Easy walk into town which is really cute, great pubs and shopping. Lots to do in the area, did some epic hiking, saw no less than 9 waterfalls, visited the fish hatchery and enjoyed the 'fruit loop'. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all updated and very comfortable, nice linens. The steam shower was awesome, used it several times. Some opportunities for this property...We wished the main living space had better seating for all of us though, the breakfast bar chairs were the wrong height (too short) so your chin hit the countertop, which made that area unusable for meals; and there wasn't adequate seating in the living room, one small couch and a chaise, not nearly adequate for 8 people, however there was a nice sized dining room table. And some little things like the blender didn't work, coffee maker was funky/old, TV upstairs didn't work, no toilet paper holder in main floor bathroom, and we couldn't get Sonos to work, which would have been nice. These might seem minor, but for the price I think it's fair to have some expectations that these items should have been provided.
A couple of years ago I rented a town home a couple doors down. When I walked pass this house and heard the flowing water from the creek and saw the good curb appeal I said if I ever had the opportunity to rent this house I would. Well I came back to hood River this year and rented this house with some friends. The house is awesome, the view of mount Adam was amazing a the cooking space was wonderful. I will be renting this house again
We had such a great time! The home was beautiful and large enough for all 9 of us. Loved the layout of the kitchen, dining and living room; gave us a lot of room to hang out. The only "issues" we had was locking some of the doors and the mattress in the room next to the playroom had a hard mattress. Other than that, the house was perfect! Thank you Amy you made renting this place easy!
Amy was amazing at helping me find the house that fit my needs. The house was perfect!! Very clean, well equipped, and incredible view. The floor plan was perfect and we loved the heated floors in the bathrooms. Could not have asked for a better home. I will definitely be coming back.
