Ira, we thoroughly enjoyed the property, conveniently located to the beach and a well equipped park for the grandchildren. The interior of the house has everything one needs, comfortable beds, more than enough t.v.'s and a well equipped kitchen, and of course a very well maintained pool. As a grandmother, I would have liked the pool a little warmer, but it did not stop the kids from getting wet. I would recommend this property to anyone whom I thought was responsible. Thanks again, we had a wonderful vacation. The Watermans'
We just returned from a week stay at Ira's property and found everything in the listing and more. The location was perfect with an easy walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants as well.
Perfect vacation house! Clean, comfortable and great location!!!
We had an amazing family vacation on Marco Island because of this wonderful home! Everything was clean and ready to go. The pool was perfect for the kids and all amenities that we needed were included. Beach access is a short, nice walk. Restaurants, shopping and tourists sites all close by. Ira is a great property manager. All questions were answered very quickly.
The perfect family vacation
It was our first time in Marco Island and we loved everything. The house was so clean and beautiful plus the location was great. Ira was very attentive and ready to help at any time. We really enjoyed our vacation and the beautiful home. The beach was gorgeous and really close to the house. We also had a great time at the pool. It was the perfect vacation for our family.
Clean, convenient, easy walk to beach
My family of 6 stayed at this beautiful property for 6 nights in early August. It was clean, comfortable and easily accommodated 2 adults and 4 kids (ages 2 to 10). It was well equipped with everything you need for a worry free vacation - we utilized all the conveniences of home from the large washer/dryer to the grill to the Keurig for our coffee. It also had all the equipment you'd need for a beach trip - umbrellas, coolers & chairs. The beach cart made it easy to carry all our things and make the easy walk to the beach. The pool was clean and warm and all the pool toys were a bonus for the kids. The wi-fi was flaky throughout our stay but that just gave us a good excuse to not work during our time off. Ira was wonderful and very responsive. He provided helpful directions, tips and instructions that made our stay very easy. Overall we had a great experience and I'd stay here again when we make it back to Marco Island.
We loved the property and location. We would definitely stay at this property again.
We had a great experience at this property. We loved the location of the house because it was walking distance to the beach and several attractions. The property had all the items needed to enjoy the beach. We walked to dinner and miniature golf on a couple evenings. The house was perfect for our family. There was two separate family rooms which our kids used one and adults in the other. The house was clean and the pool was wonderful. The pool area was very clean and the pool water was crystal clear. We found everything in the kitchen to make our meals and the air conditioning was great. The owners obviously take pride in their property and have numerous upgrades. The house has two and a half baths that were super clean and both showers were wonderful. The owner, Ira was wonderful to work with. He contacted us after arrival to make sure everything was in good order. We had a small problem with WiFi and Ira got that fixed immediately. We can’t say enough good things about Ira and the property. We would definitely stay here again.
Driving along the palm tree lined streets of Marco Island and you will be entering a special kind of paradise. This is an affluent island rich in history. We are offering you and your family a private and tranquil vacation.
Check out the many points of interest including the opportunity to visit the most exclusive area of homes on Marco - Caxambas Island. From the spooky Indian burial grounds to a 2.45 acre Otter Mound preserve, the property surrounding it was a home site for early settlers in the Caxambas Village who worked in the Marco Island clamming industry. The "Mound" on which Otter Mound Preserve sits was constructed by the Calusa native inhabitants from oyster, southern surf clam, lightning whelk, and other shellfish species and dates between 700 AD – 1200 AD. Discover the relics of the Burnham Clam Factory and tough it out to the highest point in South Florida - Indian Hill with an elevation of 51 feet above sea level!
The Red Rooster Cafe, Doreen's Cafe or Suzie's diner are all great spots for breakfast or early lunch but don't forget Residence beach!
You are now just two blocks from the white sand beaches, grab your chairs and prepare to relax. Must-do activities await such as jet ski tours thru the 10,000 islands, parasailing and sailing & shelling tours to experience the Florida lifestyle. Grab a bite at Quinn's Restaurant or Stilts Beachside Bar. In Marco Walk Plaza, catch a movie at our local theater or treat yourself with an ice cream at BeeBee's.
Only 4 miles from Rose Marina that offers full and half day boat rentals, dinner & sunset cruises aboard the Marco Island Princess and the chance at journeying down to Duval Street on The Key West Express (3 Hours), just up from the marina is Olde Marco - head to the "World Famous" Snook Inn for happy hour, Lee Be Fish for a light lunch or pick up a local piece of artwork from Malenda Trick's Gallery.
If you want a change of scenery on Saturday/Sunday head down by car or grab a taxi to Stan's Idle Hour in Historic Goodland. Just a 10 minute trip east of the island you will find many locals and visitors; from bikers to Bentleys. Live music from local bands and stage dancing all afternoon. Check out the Olde Marco Lodge, Little Bar and Marker 8 for a true fishing village experience.
If you choose to journey off the island (many of us don't leave "the rock") head over to Isles of Capri, a 600 acre village just 2 miles north of the island off SR-951. Tucked away among the mangroves you will discover a few great dinner spots such as The Island Gypsy Cafe, Pelican Bend Restaurant and The Capri Fish House.
