There are three bathrooms- two on the main level and one on the upper level. You can dock your boat right out your back door. This house has a total of 60 feet of dock space. The Islands of Marathon span about 15 miles in the Middle Keys, halfway between Key West and Key Largo. The historic Island of Pigeon Key is located at the north end of the 7 mile bridge with its 65 foot high span. The bridge offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean.

The Islands of Marathon are a bird watcher's paradise - spot roseate spoonbills, bald eagles, great blue herons and many more native to the region. The Marathon Wild Bird Center is located at Crane Point Hammock, a hardwood hammock and natural history museum.

Kayak and explore the miles of tunnels under the mangroves. Snorkel and dive beautiful natural reefs. We have both shallow and deeper reefs and wrecks for more advanced divers. Every type of salt water angling is available here! See dolphn and sea turtles in the wild or stop by the Dolphin Research Center or Turtle Hospital for a tour.

Or just relax on the beach and enjoy doing nothing!

Good location and very well maintained vacation rental

  • 4 of 5

We have been renting once a year in Marathon and Key Colony for many years. We enjoy getting the family together and spend time on the water. This is one of the best maintained and centrally located places. The dock, the lower deck and the small pool are a great plus. Enough room to park the trailer and cars. Vaca cut and many on and off the water restaurants are nearby. Local boat ramp is three blocks away. This rental is also well equipped and distributed. Even the teenagers enjoyed it.

Great Place in Marathon

  • 5 of 5

I am always nervous when I rent a place from pictures on a website. The pictures posted do not do this place justice, it is much nicer than the photos. 3 couples rented this place and we were extremely comfortable and able to get anywhere we wanted. On the boat we had easy access to the Gulf, Vaca Cut, & 7-mile Bridge. On land there were plenty of good restaurants including the Islander, Sunset Bar & Grill & Castaways just to name a few. Easy drive to Key West and Bahia Honda for Snorkel trip to Looe Key (which I highly recommend) also drove to Islamorada for Charter fishing trip with Capt. Easy where we caught 18 Mahi all over 20 lbs. Oh yeah it has an ICE MACHINE & a POOL!!!! AMAZING !!!!

So I highly recommend this place and will probably book again next year.
