Del Mar Vacations
About Del Mar Vacations
Luke, the owner of the Del Mar Vacations, grew up in Wellfleet, Massachusetts and is a true wash-ashore. Along with his wife Christina, and their daughter Grace he resides in Orleans in a restored antique farmhouse near Pleasant Bay. He started Del Mar Vacations to provide great service to homeowners and vacationers alike. Luke was tired of rental homes that lacked the basic necessities - he felt that guests should be looking forward to their relaxing vacation rather than worrying about packing enough sheets, towels, and other essentials. Everything we do at Del Mar is geared toward making your guest experience better than the status quo. We strive to provide guests with a memorable experience in private homes for a true Cape Cod vacation.

Had a lovely time!
I rented this house for a weekend getaway with the family, and very much enjoyed the accommodations. Cleanliness is most important to me, and the place was spotless. Linens and towels provided was a huge plus, and the staff at Del Mar was very attentive. Thank you!
Adorable, quiet home perfect for Cape getaway
The house was ADORABLE. We were 6 adults for a beach weekend and there was plenty of space for all! The back deck was great for the starts and ends of the day, catching up over coffee or relaxing as the sun sets. The house is perfectly set up for entertaining and chatting, the open floor plan of the kitchen to dining area to living room just lends itself to catching up with the girls. We were also pretty close to Mayo Beach and the cute shops of Wellfleet. The drive-in theater/flea market was just down the road too. We were also treated to the most beautiful sunsets over the back bay, just a short walk further down the main road.
This property would be great for families or friend groups looking for a relaxing weekend.
looks nice but below average
We got in from the airport late. Only spend an hour on the code, that only work some of the time. Once we got in it was extremely and stuffy inside. We thought to sit on the porch, but we couldn't it was very dirty and unusable.
Next day, The kitchen cabinets had pots and pans, but dirty cabinets. So, we had to wash the pots & pans, cups, etc.. In the evening we tried the fire place. It doesn't work at all. No bath soap. So, to say the least, this place needs some major cleaning and the code doesn't work most of the time. One day we spent hours trying to get in the house.
We are local and available to help our guests with issues 24/7, which is why Ben was able to get to the home so quickly and help you use the keypad properly. Our cleaners are amazing and so hard working, so I apologize if we fell short of your expectations. I'm also surprised that you were dissatisfied, given the fact that we made several trips to the home to provide you with special request items to help you prepare for your event. I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your trip, and I'm relieved that the majority of guests find this home to be a great place for a great value!
A well equipped and spacious home .
A spacious home and a great value in a quiet neighborhood nestled among the pines. Very convenient to restaurants and biking/ hiking trails.
Clean and spacious
The house is in a very convenient location to Route 6. Though the property is kept very clean, it does show signs of needing a few updates (especially the master bedroom rug and mattress). There is plenty of room for a larger group and is well equipped. Appreciated all the starter supplies. Overall a nice place.
Generally very happy with our stay
Lovely, large open home in a central location for all Cape day trips. A few little things bring my rating to a four, but wouldn't keep us from returning.
