Canoe and Lifejackets. The fishing is great off of the dock. Lots of small mouth bass, perch, etc.
You can dive off the end of the dock. Note that the weed situation changes year to year. Some years are better than others. We do try to manage the weeds with a vee'd rake.

Kawartha Lakes is a year-round outdoor playground with over 600 km of trails and exciting ATV trail riding.
Enjoy the fresh air and peace of nature as you fish, hike or cycle. Kawartha Lakes are well-known for world class fishing, whether it is walleye, trout, bass, pan fish or one of the many other species.
The locks at the Trent-Severn Waterway, a short distance away, are made up of 386 kilometres (210 miles) of interconnected lakes and rivers stretching through central Ontario. You can launch your boat or try paddling your way through one of the extensive canoe and kayak routes.
Kawartha Lakes is rich in culture and heritage. Take a step back in time at one of the many museums. The artistic community is thriving here.

Cleaning service is NOT included in stay rates. It is expected you leave the cottage the way you found it to ensure your security deposit is returned.
WINTER STAYS: Although the hill to the cottage is ploughed weekly, if you do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle you will need to park at the top of the hill and walk down to the property. It does get icy and driving on this hill in the winter is not advised and at your own risk.
