Good Location, Amazing Interior
The interior of our space was fantastic, spacious, updated, and highly appointed with appliances and modern decorations. All mechanicals worked flawlessly. The grounds were very well-kept except for areas away from public view which were littered with plastic and paper trash, disturbingly much of it near the shore. Overall I'd recommend this property, and we would return. The only other negative is that it's not walking distance from shops or restaurants, but for some that may not be a negative. The resort is in a residential neighborhood. Exterior property improvements were going on while we were there. Waterfront and beach area are clean, attractive, and well-kept. Pool, pool area, and pool bar were clean and well-attended by staff.
1st trip to the keys
Nice location, friendly staff. Would stay again in different condo. Our condo needed updated. The air never got below 73 degrees. The stove and refrigerator had food on them, we found a dirty knife under the toaster when we arrived. The microwave and didn’t work that well. It was well stocked with plates, bowls and silverware. But not with salt, pepper. My suggestion is to supply some paper items. We wanted to grill out so had to take the ceramic plates.
Ocean Pointe does in fact have beautiful grounds in a wonderful location and great amenities and we are so very glad that you enjoyed them. It saddens us to know that you were not happy with your accommodations. Since, management has addressed this issues recently and has hired additional housekeeping so it is easier to pay closer attention to the details. Had we known about these issues, we could have coordinated with the on-site management team to have them taken care of immediately. We definitely hope you will return so that we can show you a better experience.
Unfortunately it is very difficult for us to provide paper plates to our guests.
Our condo was very nice and very clean and it was in a really good location the people were very nice there and very accommodating at the front desk had a great time at the pool would return again.
Hi Kristin, Thank you for your review. We agree, this property has the perfect location with much to offer. We welcome you back anytime!
Positive: lovely pool and beach, clean suite, great area.
Positive: lovely pool and beach, clean suite, great area.Negative: hallway-stairwell lights out 3 days out of 6, so pitch black down concrete steps at 8pm; hallway recycle bin overfull; I responded to any problems? management message and never heard back; sparse pots and pans in suite. Speaking as someone whos owned and managed apartments for 40 years, the management is mediocre, despite which my family enjoyed its week here.

Two bedroom two bath gave plenty of space . Facilities were well maintained. Staff friendly.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We agree, the property is well maintained and the kindest resort staff. We welcome you back anytime!
Originally the room we were assigned was terrible
Not at all as pictured in the vrbo site
U could not even see the water
After much complaining as I was very upset and felt deceived we got a great room with a view as pictured on the website
Greg was extremely accommodating and sympathetic and helpful
The grounds and facility are great
Would go back again as long as we were guaranteed a good room with a view
Hi Kathryn, we appreciate the great review and are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We apologize for any confusion, and glad the on-premise management team was able to fully assist you. The pictures presented are only samples - because each suite is decorated in the owner's individual & personal taste, it is impossible for us to post pictures of every single unit we manage. Welcome you back anytime and hope you will return to stay with us again soon!
Key Largo, called "the first of the Florida Keys," because of its northernmost location along the Florida Keys chain, is an hour's drive from Miami International airport. Yet it is a world away. Home to a national marine sanctuary, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Key Largo boasts some of the most fascinating diving/snorkeling adventures in Florida. A host of eco-tourism and dive-snorkel services are ready to help you discover the natural wonders of Key Largo. If you like to go fishing, be sure to reserve your charter boat and enjoy the sport fishing experience of a life time with the best charter captains and fishing guides in the world. You can go after sailfish offshore, bonefish along the Atlantic shallows, or redfish and tarpon in the Florida Bay. After a day of great fishing, you can visit some of the many family-owned restaurants that will serve you the day’s fresh catch or prepare your own! And don’t forget to try the key lime pie, which is a Key specialty. Islamorada is only 15 miles off Key Largo and it is home to the Theater of the Sea where you can swim with the dolphins. It is also home to the world famous Tiki Bar serving up frozen drink such as Piña Coladas, Rum Runners or my personal favorite, a Miami Vice. There are also several other local bars and restaurants, often featuring live bands to help you wind down after a day of fun in the South Florida sun. Whether sinking your feet in the sand, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, dining, shopping or sight-seeing, Key Largo and Islamorada have enough to keep any visitor in awe from beginning to end. Staying a week, a month or more? You’re always a local when you’re in Key Largo. Come visit your home away from home.
