not a 2 bedroom, 2 bath
the condo was nicely furnished, the hosts were helpful and pleasant. clean, but could use some attention to details. It needs to be advertised correctly. It worked fine for us, enjoyed the stay.
Clean, comfortable, authentic, convenient location
The location is wonderful and is easy to transit making it easy to get around here and surrounding areas of Boston. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Boston for a second time. We loved the age and style of the apartment which was also very clean and comfortable.
Did Not Suit Our Needs
Heads up to anyone looking to rent here - there are NOT two bathrooms, as stated in the listing. We would not have rented this for four adults if we knew there was only one bathroom. The owner needs to change the listing to present an accurate description of the unit.
The listing also indicates that there is a dining room in the unit - but that's also not accurate. There is a bar with three barstools.
The unit itself is recently renovated and would be fine for two people. It is nicely located with close access to restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. But be advised that you must be able to climb to the third floor to access this unit.
The unit needs some attention to detail: the shower curtain is in dire need of changing, as there is quite a bit of mildew / mold all along the bottom. In addition, the window blinds are very flimsy, broken in places, and let in too much light. Better window coverings would really be an enhancement. Also - while the bath towels and washcloths that were provided were very nice, we were not provided with hand towels, although we requested them from the cleaning staff.
The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen provides many nice amenities.
I would probably not stay here again simply because of the difficulty I have with climbing stairs. But if the owner would address the few issues I noted, it would be a nice place to stay for two people who don't have a problem with stairs.
Perfect location and a beautiful apartment!
We stayed for two nights - three girls in town for a reunion. It was a perfect place to be! The hosts were very prompt in responding to a few questions!
Ken was a GREAT host; very responsive and accommodating. His apt is newly renovated, well lit, very very clean and he had ALL of the amenities you could ask for. The unit is also in a great location (T stop less than 5 mins), but it does reside very near to an activist co-op which seemed to attract some interesting people. If you're traveling solo, this may bother you. Also, the interior stairs from entrance to apt could use some TLC. Overall, definitely a diamond in the rough :)
