Our family farm, which is between this property and Round Top, has been in the family since 1900. Our daughter is the sixth generation to live in Fayette County on our property. We know the ins-and-outs of our area and the great places to visit and eat! You will rent from locals who understand the area!
Why Linda chose Fayetteville
Avoid the traffic and noise of Round Top and Warrenton during show seasons---sleep Fayetteville is nearby, with everything you need!
What makes this House unique
Fayetteville is off-the-beaten path of visitors to the Round Top area. The convenient grocery store has everything, and restaurants on the Square don't have lines and long wait times!

Perfect for the three days we were there.
Linda met us there early and was very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Was easy to find and we did not mind the trains one bit!
Quite, nice people all around you and Fayetteville is a darling little town, just like you see on tv
Great location. Linda is very nice to deal with. All your needs will be meet at this home. It could use some updating, but then the price would go up. So for the price a fabulous place to stay! Barbara, Tom, Janie and Cyndi.
Quaint house with charming owners
This is an older home, but Linda has made it comfortable as a place to stay. Linens and towels were fresh and clean regularly, and she was available if we needed anything. This home has no t.v. or internet, but my mobile hotspot worked great and my cell service was also great. The home is just a block off the main town square, where there are two great little restaurants and a general mercantile store for sundries, as well as an antiques market for a few days. We were only about 20 minutes from the Round Top/Warrenton antiques markets, so it was a great location for us.
My only suggestion/recommendation to people would be that 1) the home needs a real refrigerator; the tiny table-top model was not sufficient to our needs, and 2) know that trains come through quite frequently at night, and they blow their horns quite a lot because there are several crossings very close to the house.
For my first VRBO, this was a good experience. It did teach me to ask a few more questions in the future, but overall, Linda has a quaint, charming little house that is perfect for the antiques market season, and as the owner, she is ready and willing to make her guests as comfortable as she can.
Round Top Festival Institute is about 20 minutes away by car, where Concerts are held year-round. Ask for a private tour of the Festival-Institute, and I will arrange one for you! Check it out at www.festivalhill.org
Local festivals are very frequent--and this location is great for Round Top, La Grange or even Brenham fairs, festivals and events.
