A privately groomed trail right from the front door leads you through the majestic forest on a 2.1km hike where you and are far more likely to find wildlife than human life:)
Many guests choose to split their time between the Rosebud Cabin and Riding Mountain National Park where the possibilies are endless. Just a scenic drive away, this Park is full of charm and thriving.
At the end of a full and busy day spent up at the Park though, many guests comment that they can't wait to retreat home to their quiet little cabin in the hill; sip a glass of wine, prepare a delicious dinner, and sit back on their deck to watch the sun go down. Quite simply, they experience the best of both worlds.
This unique cabin opens each year from May - October, has a superior view, and a most tasteful interior ambiance. Cream colour adobe walls are accented by dark rich floors, antique furnishings and a combination of internationally collected and hand hewn artworks.
A fully equipped kitchen makes packing simple. Basically all you need to bring is 'your own food and drink'. Everything else including bedding, towels, blankets, board games and lawn games is supplied.
During the summer we accept weekly booking only but otherwise 2-3 nights are fine.
The Rosebud rents out at $175./night or $1225./wk based on occupancy of two ... with an additional charge of $30/person /night for extras.
During July & August we ask for weekly rentals only ... from Friday - Friday.
