Below you will find details about our home, Capri by the Sea 612, located on the beach in Pacific Beach. 

It is important for you to read all details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Floor to ceiling windows throughout this home give you ocean views from almost every room. Watch the surfers in the morning, the beach goers and kite surfers in the afternoon, and watch the waves crash at night with help from the giant lights on the roof of the Capri. This is a unique and amazing home.

Stay at this gorgeous, modern condo at one of the only high rise buildings on the beach in Pacific Beach. Steps away from the boardwalk, crystal pier, and all the shops, restaurants, and bars on Garnet Avenue.

This is a spacious corner unit with views from almost every window of this condo. The unit has a very large master bedroom with king bed and ocean views, lots of closet space, and large, private bathroom.

The second bedroom has two queen beds and large closets.

The second bathroom is large and very modern.

A queen size sleeper sofa will sleep another 2 people.

The home has flat screen TV's in every room.

The kitchen was recently updated with newer cabinets and appliances. The kitchen is very well equipped with many small appliances and utensils you wouldn't find at many vacation rentals.

The condo is only a small part of what makes this home truly a unique vacation. The building has a rooftop deck 12 stories up with 360 degree views of Pacific and Mission Beach. The deck is equipped with lounge chairs, picnic tables and barbecues.

There is also a very nice pool that is heated at a constant 86 degrees year round. The pool area also has a large jacuzzi and sauna for your use.

Lastly, there is one dedicated, secured parking spot available with the unit. Anyone that knows about how tough parking can be by the beach will understand how valuable this is to the home.

Imagine going to sleep each night with sound of the waves crashing on the sand!

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available. 

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please. 

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

This was a wonderful place to stay.

This condo was immaculate, had every amenity covered, very comfortable beds and furniture, well-stocked kitchen, and the perfect location directly on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others!

Perfect location

This vacation was a Christmas Gift to our 3 adult sons. While the location was beautiful and perfect for accessing so many different restaurants and activities, we had some issues with the tenants below us. Twice we had security called on us for 'running' in the condo. Our sons are in their 20's and my husband and I are in our 50's. I guarantee there was no running going on in our condo and we are not a loud family. This made all of us very anxious about making any noise at all!

Outstanding Location but Condo Could Use Some Repairs

The location and view on Pacific Beach is excellent. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and places to grab a drink within walking distance. The condo had a great view of the beach and the beds were very comfortable. However, the condo could use a thorough cleaning, repair of paint chips and paint peeling off the walls, and just general repairs.

The property was located right on the beach and (being on the 6th floor corner) had stunning views.

The property was spacious, well maintained and right on the beach as well as being located close to restaurants. Security controlled parking right beneath the building was a plus. My family and I would definitely consider going back there again.

View is amazing but the apartment definitely needs some TLC!

This is not a five star accommodation. The views truly are wonderful but the unit needs work. We have stayed at VRBO listings for over ten years and are quite happy to give very good ratings for property that is maintained but we will also be honest when it is not. We have also been on the owner side of renting on VRBO and were certified as a five star accommodation by the Olympic committee so know what it takes to qualify for that.

The building itself is decent, the location is good to walk to the beach/shops etc. If they only kept the unit itself in good shape we would have loved this place.

The mgmt. co says to advise them of issues when you check-in so you are not held responsible for them but there was too many to list so we took pictures instead - not a great beginning to our vacation.

Some of the issues we had with this unit:

-majority of the dishes are chipped

-kitchen cupboards are loose and don't close properly

-the fridge has a large peeled off paint area and rust on it

-second bedroom has a lot of chips in the drywall

-beds are old and worn out and sag in the middle

-living room furniture sags

-there was one wine glass (for a place that sleeps 6)

-appears lockbox and door code don't change often-huge safety issue for guests

-apt. front door has no security latch for night time and with the same code being given out this gives no peace of mind while sleeping

-the apt. hallways and many of the rooms have several dirt and scrapes out of the base boards and are in serious need of repair and paint.

-the second bathroom has mold on the ceiling and paint chipping and appears to have water damage occurring

We feel it is important to future renters to know what they are getting. I wish I had read more carefully the other lower reviews as they are correct!

With some money spent on this unit it would be fabulous. I hope for future guests our concerns are corrected by the owner/manager.

7 night and a Saturday to Saturday stay may be required during peak season (June - August). Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.
