3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom Fully Furnished Townhouse with Mountainviews

This end unit 3 story townhouse is in Coal Creek Estates just 2 kilometers west of downtown Fernie. A short 8 KM drive to the skihill and mountain biking and 5 minutes to the golf course, this retreat is perfect for families, or 3-4 couples for a mountain getaway. Enter on the ground floor at garage level. The garage will fit a single car but is used for sports equipment storage: bikes, skis, sno-boards, skates, snowshoes, golf clubs, kayaks, tobaggans etc.(renters bring your own equipment and use the garage). From the entry go down to family room with futon and laundry or up to the living room with large deck with BBQ and mountain views. The living room has large windows. Up another set of stairs to the huge eat-in kitchen. All typical kitchen utensils, dishes and cooking equipment are provided. The dining room has a table, 6 chairs as well as a hutch and shelf for additional storage. There is a pantry and half bath off of the kitchen level. Up the final flight of stairs to the three bedrooms. Huge master with queen bed closets and ensuite with shower. Guest room with queen bedroom and Twin room with 2 twin beds with another bathroom with tub/shower. Please note that the fireplace does not work and that this unit is not recommended for those that cannot climb stairs.

We love Fernie and wanted a mountain getaway for skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking and just plain old relaxing! This property can fit our big family and guests.

What makes this townhome unique

The garage! Easy to load and unloaded gear and suitcases. Storage for sports equipment and at least one guaranteed parking spot in the driveway! We love the trees and mountain views.

Nice place, shame about the trains

The property is well furnished and has plenty of space. We were very comfortable except that the proximity to the tracks meant trains kept us awake. This wouldn't be as much of a problem in cooler weather when it would be feasible to keep windows closed at night.

Owner's Response: Hi, yes we know the trains are close which is why we have written about it in the ad to forewarn guests so they know when the book that the trains are there. Maybe you didn't notice? Glad the stay was comfortable otherwise.

Good Value for a Group

We enjoyed a week of skiing for my son's 16th birthday. We had 4 adults 4 teens and a 1 year old. This condo offer plenty of space and all ammenties listed. The location offered easy access to the aquatic center and a quick 10 minute drive to the hill. The washer and dryer was a huge benefit as we had a full day of rain on the ski hill. The owner was more than pleasant to deal with and helped us get in when we arrived an hour early due to the time change. A great stay overall.

Comfort and convenience

This condo is set up for complete comfort and convenience. The owners made sure it was easy to access. The unit is furnished with all of the convenient amenities as listed in the profile and the previous reviews. The location makes it easy to walk to town, drive out to the ski hill or head towards the many surrounding lakes. Perfect for summer or winter getaways!

Great for a group

6 of us enjoyed our stay at this condo. The BBQ and HUGE kitchen made meal prep almost fun. Beds were comfy, and linen was nice.

Great place for a great price!

This is a great place for groups we had ample room for our group of 8. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of plates cutlery ect. As well as all the cooking utensils you would ever need. The beds were comfy with good linens as well as supplied towels. The washer and dryer were a bonus especially since the rain soaked us on the ski hill. The owner was easy going and great to deal with. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away to fernie!
