Great Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

We have come to the place by the lake three years in a row. The house can accommodate 10-12 people comfortably and the location allows for privacy while still being close to activities in Camden and Lincolnville. The family can all get together, enjoy the lake or head off to town or short road trips. We will be back!

Fantastic lakefront vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location for our extended family - the guys enjoyed great fishing and golfing at the near-by golf course. The women enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and shopping in nearby Camden. The property feels totally secluded, the house is spacious with comfortable bedding and a well equipped kitchen. We were awed to learn this beautiful home was built by the host without use of a single nail. We also enjoyed hiking and bike riding in the area. It would be a beautiful spot in the fall! Thanks Jim- we will be back!

Amazing Lake House

  • 5 of 5

The views from the lake house are spectacular. The accommodations were excellent with plenty of room to spread out. Fun was had by all of our family who enjoyed the fishing, the canoeing, the paddle boarding, and the kayaking. The host family was extremely attentive to our needs.

Loved this house!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this beautiful lake house with our extended family of 8 for a week this summer. It was beautiful, spacious and clean. Access to the lake was perfect for swimming and hanging on the dock. The house came with everything to meet our needs, including a kayak and a canoe.

The owners were extremely nice, and very committed to making our stay the very best it could be. We have spent many a summer vacationing in Maine and it is difficult to find a property that is perfectly located to area shopping and restaurants, that can also accommodate our entire family, but this house was perfectly located in proximity to Camden. We would definitely rent this house again!

Located just 4 miles from Camden,, the heart of the Mid Coast, yet set in a private end of Lake Megunticook one of the premier lakes in Maine. The location doesn't get any better for exploring the breathtaking Maine coast. You can stay local hiking the Camden Hills, sailing on one of the wooden schooners, taking the ferry to Islesboro or touring the local winery.....or you can do a day trip to Acadia National Park or L.L. Bean.....or as most renters of this property do....you can stay home enjoying Lake Megunticook by canoe or kayak and enjoy preparing your evening meal in the commercial grade kitchen overlooking the sunset in your western view.
