My family bought this home as a winter and summer getaway. We don't use it as much as we used too and now would like to offer it for others to enjoy!
Scott purchased this Cabin in 1986
Why Scott chose Twin Mountain
We purchased this log home because it was close by our favorite skiing area, Bretton Woods. It was also close to North Conway shopping and many other attractions.
What makes this Cabin unique
The home is uniquely secluded in a log cabin community with views of nearby mountains. Breathing the fresh air every morning off the back porch is a great way to start your day!

Great location and an easy drive to Bretton Woods Ski Resort
My family and I enjoyed this comfortable and spacious cabin in the woods. It was a private location facing the trees but the neighborhood was close enough to the main road that it didn't feel isolated. Plenty of parking and the house is well equipped and clean. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Close to skiing mountain, cozy and private
The property was set back and felt like we were nestled in the woods. Loved the big fireplaces and ample seating in living room. Highly recommend!
We have been coming here for a few years, in the winter for skiing and the summer for hiking. You cannot beat the location. Amenities are great, fully stocked kitchen, baths and linens. A field stone fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Cannot be beat.
Beautiful setting, cozy and warm, 10 minutes to Bretton Woods
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The house is clean and well appointed with everything needed. We loved the fireplace in the living room and the master bedroom - bring your own wood, it is not provided. You can buy it at any local convenience or grocery store. Beautiful and quiet setting only 10 minutes drive from Bretton Woods. The TV has been upgraded vs what is shown in the listing photos. There is satellite tv and Xbox 360. Plenty of linens and towels available. This place is a gem - we will be back!
A great place to stay for skiing at Bretton Woods
We had a great time at this log cabin during our Bretton Woods skiing vacation. The skiing area is only 10 minutes away, and the house has everything for a comfortable stay, including a very nice fireplace. The neighborhood is very quiet. Highly recommended.
Nice place. Secluded but not too far from things.
Stayed for two night while leaf peeping. Nice place, perfect for a couple or small family. Since it only has 1.5 baths, and the half is on the ground floor you need to be friendly or family if more than a couple. Clean, including every dish and pan we used. Kitchen had everything we needed except a cookie sheet, but we were able to make do with a baking pan. Pantry and fridge had some spices and staples that seemed pretty fresh.
The only complaint we had was the sparse directions - an address and a link to google maps. Due to bad traffic out of Boston, we ended up coming in after dark. We lost data service a few miles off I-93 so were lucky we had started navigating the google maps early enough and had saved a picture on my phone of the place. Google pronounced we arrived at some driveways about 200 yards short of our destination. The picture of the house is of the back so verification we had the right place from the driveway was not possible. House numbers turned out to be tiny, barely reflective industrial street sign like posts buried in the bushes that could only catch the light if you turned into the driveway. We also lost phone service so couldn't even call if we had been given a phone number. We didn't even look since it wouldn't do any good anyway. We thought we found the right place (hard to tell in the dark with the car headlights that don't really shine on the house). but couldn't find the lockbox so we had to keep looking.
Bring your own firewood. We have rented several mountain cabins but this is the first that advertises a fireplace but doesn't tell you to bring your own firewood when it isn't provided. Luckily we got in so late we weren't going to start a fire anyway.
I would stay here again.
