About Caryn Gifford
I am born and raised in SW Michigan. Lived in Colorado for 10 years where I taught skiing, met and married my husband, had two beautiful daughters. We moved to Southern NV 30 years ago for work,(construction and real estate.) Scoured the back roads of Utah for years until we found this amazing property. It reminds me of Colorado 40 years ago, pristine, undeveloped and laid back. Plus it's on the water, something I've loved since childhood. My husband lived in Crested Butte in the 70's and built his 1st log cabin there. We built this one together in 2001 and it's fabulous!
Why Caryn Gifford chose Duck Creek Village
We love this property, it's on the water and is soothing to wake up to. The stars shine amazingly bright in this mountain sky. It is 10 miles away from the dust and loud noise of nearby Duck Creek. 18 miles from Brian Head Ski Resort. Enjoy wildlife as nature intended.
What makes this Cabin unique
We bottle the water from our 500 foot deep well to bring back to Southern NV. The water tastes amazing. The smell of the pine logs is indescribable along with the wood burning stone fireplace. The 28 foot high ceiling with sturdy beams is a masterpiece. It's a very relaxing environment with plenty of outdoor activities available. The mountains and the stream are your playground.

Thank you again
This cabin was the perfect getaway for me and my family. Very spacious, updated amenities, and gorgeous view of the creek from the back patio. Would definitely stay there again.
Thank you for being a great guest!
We love to share our piece of paradise with people who love the area. It's hard to beat SW Utah all year long!
Beautiful Stay at Mammoth Creek.
We enjoyed our five day stay at Mammoth Creek. We were two families of 4 adults and 4 children. We all fit comfortably in the space. The cabin was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The deck on the creek was one of our favorite spots. It is driving distance to both Zion National Park and Bryce National Park (approx 1 + hours). The kitchen has all the amenities - pots, pans, dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc. We so enjoyed our stay, we hope to come back.
Thank you for being wonderful guests! We look forward to your next visit to beautiful SW Utah!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful. This place is special.
Thank you for being great guests!
Please come back soon!!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this cabin. It was very cozy and we felt right at home. The creek behind the cabin was a bonus too. We loved looking out and enjoying the views and hearing the creek. Plenty of room to spread out and had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. Lots of upgrades as well! We have plans to come back next year and can't wait!
Thank you Caryn for all of your personal touches and accomodations. It was such a plessure staying in your beautiful cabin!
