The master is downstairs and has a King size bed. There isnt a photo, but the master DOES have a tile shower and a soaking tub. Upstairs is a second master with a queen size bed and a private entrance in addition to the regular entrance inside the house, the other room upstairs has bunk beds that sleep 3 children. The two masters, great room and the kids room feature brand new flat screen TVs. Downstairs there is a large great room with cathedral ceilings. The laundry has high capacity washer and dryer. There is a room off of the great room downstairs with a flat screen and a couch that pulls out into a double bed. Our kids consider this their room because of the privacy. Its like having a fourth bedroom. They plug in their Wii, play station, etc. The master has a large walk-in closet and large double sink vanity. It also features a private patio.

The lot is very private with great parking. It might be the largest lot in Greenwood Forest. Kitchen appliances are stainless. While renovating, we tried to maintain the classic Sea Pines feel while modernizing. Greenwood forest is a great location in the heart of Sea Pines. Very convenient to Harbour Town, The Beach and Shops. Greenwood Forest features a community pool (just renovated! Looks great),Tennis court and Playground. During Heritage week you can walk to the 6th fairway here on Wisteria.

The great room has Blu-ray player and an iPod/iPhone cd stereo system

Not maintained very well

First of all, I hate giving reviews when they aren’t going to be perfect, I had contacted the owner about some of the issues and was given excuses that I found a little like I was being brushed off. So, since I rented this home purely based on the Perfect reviews the home advertises, i was more than a little disappointed once I arrived. The house was spacious, just like all the reviews state, however, after staying in Sea Pines 9 times, this was 3rd time this year, this house doesn’t compare to the others I have visited in the same price range. Location was great, walking distance to shops and beach. However, the house itself needed a good clean, there was blood on master bedspread and it smelled horrible so, I had to wash to remove the blood and odor. The backside of the doors were covered in fingerprints, dust and splatters and there were lots of cobwebs. There wasn’t enough extra pillows or blankets and the kitchen was missing a lot of essentials, and what equipment was there didn’t function well. The patio slider to the dining area is covered in calcium deposits making it impossible to see through and the ceilings in kitchen and upstairs bedroom had mold, which owner stated was part of living in Hilton Head since the summers are so humid and told me they bleach and repaint it yearly. I have never seen or smelled the mildewey smell I smelled as soon as I entered this home in the other homes I have stayed in, so I’m wondering if they had forgot to bleach and re-painted it this year? There were several missing light bulbs in master bathroom and even some that just didn’t work and we had to replace the batteries in the remote controllers in order to work the TV. The internet was very slow, my husband had to do some work and was incredibly frustrated with the slow speed. I will say the beds were comfortable and if they had provided enough pillows and washed the bedspread (the sheets themselves were clean) it would have been better. There were white squares of paper under every table and chair leg, which confused us, and we wondered if we were supposed to keep them under the chairs, but it did become a pain and we did give up and took half of them off. We Love Sea Pines and spend as much time there as we can. This home has so much potential, however it just isnt taken care of well.

Owner's Response: About all I can say is once every 3 -4 yrs I get “that guest” that is never satisfied with literally anything. If you are used to staying at the Ritz Carlton you might be disappointed. I don’t feel like I was at brushing my guest off. I had the flu (and told the guest this) and a house full of people for Christmas and still responded to every text I received promptly. I even responded to texts asking me where the last guest left particular kitchen utensils. She was upset that she couldn’t find the tea kettle, a cutting board and a bread knife and threatened me with a bad review I never said mold was part of living in Hilton Head. I said that it’s very humid there and that particular spot in that 20 for ceiling doesn’t have good circulation. I stay booked year round and I’ve never had anyone complain about mold, smell , etc. the carpets and rugs were cleaned the day before their arrival and the next guest 3 days after they left sent me an email thanking me for how clean the home was and how good it smelled when they arrived. I knew within an hour of their arrival that the home wouldn’t meet their standards and I’d be getting a poor review from them. She also told me that there were spiders everywhere. I sent an exterminator out before my next guest and he said all he could find was an old spider web in the corner of the vaulted ceiling. I’m not sure what else to say. I’d say about half of my guests are repeat guests and my reviews are good. One more thing, not sure why you’d be looking under the chair legs, but those “white pieces of paper” are actually pieces of felt. You buy them at Home Depot to go under chair legs so the floors don’t get scratched up. I really wish you hadn’t taken them off. It’s a pain to put them on. But that does serve as a good example as to the extent you went to find fault in my home.

Very spacious house in the perfect Sea Pines location...

We have a family vacation every year in Hilton Head and decided on this property. The house was amazing! Very spacious, open kitchen with a large living room and great bedrooms. It was great for having everyone over and enjoying family time. We will stay here again!

Loved it!

Absolutely loved this house. It's decorated beautifully and the location is perfect--just a short bike ride from the both the beach and Harbor Town. The space/layout of the house is incredible. Open floor plan but lots of space to move about and have quiet areas as well. My daughters absolutely loved the room off of the living room which has a sleeper sofa and television in it. They claimed it as "kid zone." Loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful family vacation

We were very excited to return to Hilton Head and Sea Pines. The house was beautiful and there was enough room for my sister's family and mine. We were able to do an easy bike ride to the beach and could walk to Sea Pines Center to catch the trolley to Harbor Town and South Beach. We would definitely vacation at this house again.

Fantastic Property, 2nd Year In a Row

We stayed in this property for our family vacation in Summer 2016, my kids begged to go back this year. I generally like to visit different locations, but this home is just perfect for us. The home itself is wonderful and very spacious with tons of room. This home could easily host a family of 8 or even 2 small families. The kitchen is wonderful, 4 bathrooms is a huge plus, and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. Washer and dryer work very well and, this is a big deal for me, the a/c works great, even upstairs. Overall very clean and truly feels like a vacation "home" instead of a rental.

In addition to a great property, the location is phenomenal. We rented bikes for the entire week and took them everywhere. It's an easy 10 minute ride to the beach, 10 minutes to Harbor Town, and just a few minute ride to some good fresh water pond fishing. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and tucked away, we never heard a single noise apart from wildlife and felt extremely safe. The neighborhood pool is great for families and only about a 3 minute bike ride or short walk.

We drove all over Hilton Head to explore, even visited some of the snazzier properties on the other side of the island, but Sea Pines is our favorite. Beautiful trees, bike paths, beaches, and tons to explore. This property is right smack in the middle of it all, but tucked away in a quiet area for lots of rest and relaxation. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Needs TLC

Location was near the bike path and just a quick bike ride from everything. The Pool was in the neighborhood but it backed up to some public works location that smelled like trash. The house had great open first floor with areas for all to hang out, but all of the showers were dated and the windows were covered with bugs and spider webs needing a desperate cleaning. The carpet was stained and the air upstairs was too variable making it too hot. They have up dated some counters and cabinets but need to complete the job throughout the house. It was clean but needs TLC.

Owner's Response: Actually the entire house had been gutted and literally everything in it was replaced new. Over $110,000 worth of renovation. Sorry it wasn't up to your standards :(
