Fantastic Location! Greens 205 is one of few units in Shipyard Plantation that is directly on the walk/bike path to the beach. A scenic seven minute walk to the ocean, close to The Greens resort-style swimming pool, tennis and world-class golf courses. Across the street is the world famous Van Der Meer Tennis Resort and the upscale Sonesta Resort with restaurants, bars and shops.

The Greens 205 has been tastefully and completely remodeled since we purchased it as our vacation villa in November, 2012.

The kitchen is well equipped with beautiful granite countertops, new cabinets and modern appliances.

The living room is the perfect place to chill out after a day at the beach, tennis court or the golf course relaxing on one of our comfy new sofas or recliner. The writing desk is the perfect place to use your laptop or pad to catch up friends and family.

The entire first floor has been refreshed with new paint and porcelain tile.

The bedrooms have been significantly and tastefully updated this off-season. The master bedroom has undergone a gorgeous transition by smoothing out the popcorn ceilings, removing the carpet, adding oak hardwood flooring, replacing the bathroom vanity and repainting the entire space. The spare bedroom was refreshed by removing and smoothing the popcorn ceiling as well as repainting the entire room.

For your convenience, High Speed WiFi is provided.

For your relaxation, flat-screen TVs are installed in the living room and master bedrooom.

For your comfort, a modern HVAC system was recently installed and undergoes a tune up twice annually for maximum efficiency.

For your safety, the condo is equipped with a keyless entry system to enhance security and remove the worry of losing keys.

Well trained Dogs are permitted with prior approval from the owner and the payment of $100 pet fee.

The living room, dining room, breakfast nook and kitchen are open which affords unobstructed views making this unit even more airy, light and friendly. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a king size bed with new mattress and boxspring, two closets and a new 32 inch flat screen TV. The master bath is located upstairs and a half bath is located downstairs.

Our condo is very well equipped, maintained and is continually being improved.

Shipyard Plantation is a gated community that offers miles of leisure and bike trails, 27 holes of championship golf (green fees not included), 24 hour security, fishing lagoons and much more. The Greens is one of the Shipyard Plantation's most desired properties for beach loving family vacations as well as golf and tennis.

Coligny Plaza, HarbourTown and South Beach Marina are just minutes away. Many quality restaurants are also just minutes away. The upscale Sonesta Resort is located across the street with many amenities such as restaurants, bars, coffee shop and a health club that offers daily and weekly memberships.

After vacationing and renting on Hilton head island for over 20 years, we knew the best the island had to offer. When we found that The Greens #205 was for sale, we had to buy it. It so close to the beach, privacy of a town home and the greens pool is one of the best on the island.

Beautiful location - minutes from the beach!

Property was cute, clean, well cared for and adorably decorated. Walking distance to beach. Owners were super informative, responsive and over accommodating for our visit. Beautiful walking/biking paths. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, updated condo just a short walk from the ocean

This place was perfect for just myself, my boyfriend and our small dog for the week. The owner was extremely kind and easy to communicate with, which for us, sold us on the place before we even arrived! The condo was clean, the downstairs living area was nicely updated and comfortable. It was just enough space for the two of us. Our only complaint or displeasure was the lack of yard/privacy as we didn't realize ahead of time just how close to the main road and beach path this place was. Also we were initially displeased to find out that the owners of the condo do not participate in "the beach parking program," which required us to walk to and from the beach each day rather than drive and park there. I can imagine this being difficult for a family with small children, for older adults or anyone with any sort of physical limitation- particularly since other options such as purchasing your own parking pass for the week, do not exist. If you're someone that takes more than yourself and a towel to the ocean, (like me..) having a beach cart is an absolute must! I would recommend the owner either provide renters with a beach cart or a beach locker if going to defer participation in the parking program. Overall, we were very happy with our stay as well as with all aspects of our dealings with the owners of this property. We would stay here again and would certainly recommend 205 The Greens to any couple or small family looking for a great Hilton Head vacation rental!

Owner's Response: Laura, glad you had a good week. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Yes our unit is very clean, we take good care of it and our housekeepers are excellent. The first sentence of our description on VRBO is "Fantastic Location! Greens 205 is one of few units in Shipyard Plantation that is directly on the walk/bike path to the beach". It is the reason that we bought this particular condo, to us it is perfect. I am very sorry that you were unhappy with our location, most renters have commented in their reviews that they loved it. Greens 205 is closer to the beach than the secondary parking (larger) lot. On your recommendation, we have ordered a beach cart. Thank you for that excellent suggestion. It will be a great addition to our bicycles, our bicycles are perfect for riding to the beach or exploring beautiful Hilton Head Island. We have been on the wait list for a beach locker for 4 1/2 years starting at 184th on the wait list, we are now number 37 on the wait list for a beach locker. Maybe next year. A family member will go to Security and find out how to get a beach pass for guests. Just to let you know, there is shuttle service to and from the beach from "The Greens" during rental season.

We've stayed in Shipyard for the last 13 years, and this was our first time staying at the Greens, and the unit was a great value. The beach and pool were very close, and parking was easy. The full size washer and dryer looks newer and was great for mid-week laundry!

Modern Condo on The Greens.

We normally stay at another place in The Greens, but after this trip, we won't look anywhere else. The owners are very communicative and friendly. The condo was well stocked and equipped and was perfect for our week on the island. It is modern, cozy, well furnished and the best bed we've ever had on vacation. We go to Hilton Head every year and now have a new place to stay.

The Greens

This condo was the perfect size for our family of four. The outdoor deck was a favorite for breakfast meals and just relaxing. We were happy to find a shed filled with beach items for our boys to use. They used the net and bucket for crab hunting at night and the bikes were ridden constantly. We were a little worried about the walk to the beach and how we going to carry all of our belongings. Turns out the walk was shorter than we anticipated. However, we did end up buying a beach wagon at Walmart to make the walk even easier.

Perfect place to stay for your family's get-a -way!

My only suggestion is that the owners give a better description as to how to use the front key pad lock. It took us about 10 minutes to figure it out. When you arrive at 4 for check in, the sun is shining right on the door and the key pad. It is very hard to see the numbers light up.

great beach house!

We loved our stay at Flip Flop! The house was so close to the beach, we could walk while our kids practiced riding their bikes :) The room upstairs had no window, which was great cause our kids would sleep at nap time, and was a great size for all 3 kids (2 beds). They had to come use our bathroom at night (only one bathroom upstairs) but it worked out! Many loads of laundry, so LOVED having the washer and dryer there. Plenty of cooking utensils for my husband to create delicious meals with! And a great patio to store all 5 bikes, chariot, and beach/pool gear. Even blew bubbles on the back deck while grilling out one night :)

I agree the full size washer and dryer upstairs is a definite plus especially with all the fresh laundry required by small children. Our family also prepares many delicious meals in that kitchen with those same utensils, that is one of the advantages of renting a vacation villa versus an investment condo.
