I am a professional freelance Artist for the greater Nw.
I spend many hours soaking in the inspiration provided here in the foothills of The majestic MT Rainier.
I personally remodeled and designed the cabin to create a peaceful intimate experience .
Teresa purchased this cabin in 2010
The best of both worlds.
Secluded , one of a kind. Completely self sufficient.
Close to main attractions. But very peaceful.
Absolutely one of the nicest cabins in the Mt Rainier area. Beautiful full view of raging Big creek. Huge stone working fireplace.
Beautiful custom decor. Cozy comfy with all the conveniences .
The cabin was very clean and very comfortable! The bed is a bit loud, hard to get out of it without waking up the other person, but it was still nice and clean. It is very close to Paradise on Mount Rainier and the are a few little mom and pop shops close by. This is truly a artist's cabin. The cabin is full of little artistic touches. the fireplace is truly breathtaking. Teresa keeps the wood stocked up, clean towels are readily available. The wife and I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and hope to stay again next year.
Great location for park visitors. My wife and I loved the surroundings (and our dog did too!). We were made to feel very comfortable and at home. Will definitely be back......
This cabin is more intimate than most VRBO places. Owned and decorated by an artist, this place has a great funky feel that really enhances the get-away-from-it-all ambience of the place. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The two of us and our two little dogs definitely filled up the place!
On the grounds there are endless treasures to be discovered: blown-glass hummingbird feeders, beautiful hand made fences and arches, and solar lights everywhere.
The constant presence of the babbling creek was so soothing, and the fire pit provided night after night of peace, romance, and stargazing.
We would love to come back in the Winter to use the gorgeous stone fireplace.
Oh, and the swimming hole down the road was fantastic!
As we turned in to the drive way we were immediately taken by the cabin and the yard around it. There is great attention to detail as only a very artistic person could create, and that was just the front and side yard. The cabin is amazing and the deck soon became our favorite place to sit. I loved the sound of the creek, the birds busy in the trees and the doe with her twin fawns. This is definitely a great place for a restful getaway. Bring a good book and enjoy the quiet. We had little service on our phone but that was OK with us, just added to the escape plan. We had a great lunch and piece of homemade pie at Copper Creek Inn.
You can't beat the serenity and beauty of this cabin in the forest.
This was a beautiful stay! Teresa decorated the cabin beautifully. The fireplace is a complete work of art.
The kitchen is quaint and the stove was a kick to use. I love cooking on gas!
The deck and furniture was so comfy and the view relaxing and lovely.
The only reason this isn't a 5 star is the mattress. I do believe it's been around since toe 50s. Quite worn and uncomfortable. other than that I loved the stay and highly recommend it.
The setting is superb. We truly enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the babbling brook and watching the deer forage. Mount Rainier Park is magnificent, as always. Unfortunately the place could use some deep cleaning, especially in the kitchen. Pots and pans were greasy and kind of dirty, microwave was dirty and other items were hit or miss for cleanliness. We enjoy cooking, so this might not be important to some others. Also, in the bathroom, guest wash clothes were badly stained and need to be replaced.
