On the top floor, is a master bedroom suite with a 12'x14' private lounge that contains an ornamental fireplace, a queen sleeper with a 5-inch deluxe mattress, along with a 3" mattress luxury gel topper for added comfort, a 13'x14' master bedroom with 11' ceiling and an ornamental fireplace, a luxurious queen size mattress, and a writing desk, a very comfortable chaise that converts into a small suitable for children, and a bathroom with a 10' ceiling and an air-jet, deep, extra-long bathtub.
On the parlor floor, there is an art gallery, 22' x 13", that contains an ornamental fireplace, a queen sleeper with a 5" deluxe mattress, a sitting area, and a private, spacious bedroom, 12'x14', with an ornamental fireplace, a firm queen size bed, bookcase, writing desk and another comfortable chaise that converts into a small bed suitable for children.
On the garden floor, there is a spacious open-concept gourmet kitchen, 12'x30' with high-end appliances, marble floor, custom cabinets, dining area with an ornamental fireplace, a separate lounge, 13'x15', and well shaded outdoor space. The lounge contains a twin size day bed and a queen size sleeper, that also has a 3" luxury gel mattress topper for added comfort.

There's lots to do and see here. My home is located in Downtown Brooklyn and I am in walking distance from the Barclay Center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Grand Army Plaza, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the Brooklyn Museum, about a 5 minute train ride from all of Downtown Brooklyn, where you will find the court houses, the Brooklyn waterfront, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
There are 11 train lines available and you can get into midtown Manhattan easily in about 30 minutes. I am a licensed NYC site seeing guide and help set up your itinerary. I'm also a big foodie and former food blogger, just in case if you want to come for a culinary experience. :-)

About the owner: Born & raised in New York City... Been in the neighborhood 40+ years... Total local girl... Attended grammar school across the street and high school just 8 blocks away at the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School where I fell in love with the study of architecture. I continued my academic journey in architecture in college and I have been helping people build pretty houses most of my career. When the market shifted and I was downsized, I became a licensed NYC sight-seeing guide and worked for 4 years as a tour director specializing in college tours around the country. I am now self-employed, working with start ups, and traveling around the country working on development projects.

This is truly the house that love built. I came across it as an abandoned house and I fell in love immediately with the location and details. Over the years, I was able to completely renovate the house and truly make it my own. It epitomizes the Brooklyn story of the revitalization, and still maintains a lot of old Brooklyn charm. And as they say about real estate, location, location, location! There's lot to see and do that is in walking distance, and the property is close to Manhattan. It's a 15 minute train ride to the Wall Street, and about a 30 minute ride to midtown Manhattan. And if you rather walk, the Brooklyn Bridge is about 1.5 miles away.
