We are a musician and fabric designer. We remodeled the place from scratch. We really love the place and stay here often ourselves, but we live upstate. It is really a home not just a rental property.
George purchased this Apartment in 2003
Why George chose Park Slope
We spent 20 yrs working in the arts in NYC. The neighborhood has the feel of the old days in the west village.
What makes this Apartment unique
Close to every kind of cultural interest. Music, Art, Books, Fashion, Design and Food. Barclays Center a 15 minute walk. Great restaurants. Best beer place in Brooklyn around the corner.

A true home away from home
WOW! I just loved George's place! I arrived not feeling well at all. I got in touch with George knowing that this was an extreme last minute request: late check out. He in turn got in touch with the cleaning person and she was so incredibly gracious and understanding. Of course it helped that the next guests weren't arriving until later in the evening but I was able to hang out at the place until 3:30pm. I was so incredibly grateful because I was in a full blown flare up of my health condition. All of my plans for the Big Apple had to be canceled and about all I could do was read a book. AND that was just fine. The place was so comfortable and QUIET!!! QUIET in the middle of the city?! Yes indeed it was! My only suggestion would be instructions for using the TV. I am not familiar with all the remote controls. At home I have rabbit ears and one remote. I could not for the life of me figure out how it worked. It could also be because I was not feeling well. Even the water pressure was awesome! I will definitely be back to stay at this same place. Thank you one and all!!!
Nice place, great location
Stayed for two nights in August. George was great to work with, allowed me to have an early check-in because there wasn't a renter the night before I arrived and the place had already been cleaned. Easy walk to subway and lots of restaurants. Barclay Center also within walking distance (or one subway stop). On the third floor (no elevator) but not a problem for us. Air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Good water pressure in the shower. I slept in the bedroom, my daughter slept on the futon in the living area, no complaints. Had a little problem with the TV picture going out. I told George about the problem after I checked out and he bought a new TV the day after I left. I would stay there again.
Great stay, super comfortable and super easy!
Great spot for checking out the best of south Brooklyn, neighborhood is so charming and convenient to tons of great restaurants and bars as well as prospect park. Highly recommend for an authentic stay in Brooklyn.
It was a pleasure to have you. You are are welcome back anytime!
Looking forward to a return visit!!
We love this apartment. I used to live in Park Slope before I moved to the Caribbean, and coming back to visit and stay at George and Katy's place is perfect. The accommodations are very comfortable and homey, and makes guests feel like part of the neighborhood. Great place. Looking forward to a return visit!
Was great to meet you Eric! You are welcome anytime. All the best, George and Katy
Perfect place in great neighborhood
We've stayed here 3 times. It is perfect for us as a couple. George could not be any better to work with, and the place is always clean and easy. Feels like a home away from home for us. This neighborhood has it all, and is accessible to everything. Walk to everything. Even the free parking on the street is easy! 5 stars all the way.
Great to hear from you. Looking forward to your upcoming stay! You are always welcome!
Best, George and Katy
Great location in Park Slope!
George was an amazing host. Prompt responses to all my requests and a really nice person. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything required for a great nights sleep. A/C, wifi and a great layout of the apartment. I will be staying again on future visits as our daughter lives in Park slope as well. Loved all the great restaurants and shops just around the corner on 5th Ave. Street parking was a big plus.
Looking forward to having you visit again, Sue. Keep in touch!
A 10 min walk from the new Barclay Center. Nearby Fifth Avenue has great shopping, cafe culture, nightlife, and top notch restaurants.
Park Slope boasts museums/galleries and of course the fabulous Prospect Park. Almost everything is walking distance from the apartment, but there is excellent public transportation as well.
