3 bedroom 2 bath condo across the street from Yellowstone National Park
About Trish Barnes
I am a Montana native who has returned to Big Sky country after 50 years of living elsewhere, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. Recently I retired from a 40 year career in teaching and am looking forward to reading, writing, and traveling as well as to managing this rental and to sharing my love of this place of wonders.
Trish Barnes purchased this Condo in 2016
Why Trish Barnes chose West Yellowstone
Welcome to Barnes on Boundary. This condo is located on a portion of property that has been in my father's family since the 1930s. My grandmother, who was an artist, lived in the cabin next to the condo for a number of years and sold paintings of the sights of Yellowstone locally. I grew up spending summers in the "new" cabin, built in 1940, while my parents worked 16 hour days in their fishing tackle business. I have continued to visit every summer and am deeply connected to this place of wonder and beauty.
What makes this Condo unique
During the past 35 years, I have brought my children, my friends, and my colleagues to this area and have never tired of seeing the sights I have loved all of my life and of discovering new wonders. Certainly the geysers and hot springs are the most distinguishing feature of Yellowstone National Park, but equally captivating to me are the mountains, the rivers, the flora and fauna, and the glorious Big Skies.

Great House for Yellowstone!!!
We highly recommend Trish's townhome!! It is comfortable, clean, well maintained and in the perfect location for a trip to Yellowstone. Trish is an amazing host who has thought of everything. She even checked out products in the grocery store for me prior to our visit!! We will definitely stay again when we return to Montana!!
Cozy, Clean & Comfortable
Booking Barnes on Boundary was easy. Communicating with Trish was no trouble at all. She is a very warm and gracious host. Every enquiry I had was answered promptly. She provided all the instructions I needed to get to the condo from Jackson Hole Airport. Upon arrival, we found the condo cozy, clean and comfortable. First place I look is the bedrooms and bathrooms. They were immaculate! We loved the heated floors in the bathrooms. We never ran out of hot water - the condo has tankless water heater. I usually have problem sleeping on my first evening during vacation/camping, but not on this trip. I was able to sleep well every night – Trish provides very soft sheets. The temperature outside was cold in the evenings but the heating was working well (every room had its own thermostat control). Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. I never had to bother Trish about anything. Everything I needed, she stocked it. Anything I needed to know about garbage, appliances, heating, tv, restaurants, etc. she had all the information in a binder. We highly recommend Barnes on Boundary!
This was our second time staying and it was just as clean and wonderful as our first visit. We love the location and the extra little touches provided!
We found a gem in West Yellowstone
This was a real find for us on our visit to Yellowstone. Condo was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything needed for our 3 day stay. Trish was so helpful with her binder of places to eat, things to do and little goodies! A
Must stay if you are coming to Yellowstone
We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to come back to this cozy condo after a long day of hiking.
This location can’t be beat! After a long day in Yellowstone we really appreciated that this duplex was only one block from the west entrance and walking distance to stores and restaurants. We also used the cooler and bag chairs available to us. Property was very clean and well taken care of.
The condo is two miles from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park at the northeast edge of Old Town in West Yellowstone, MT, no more than six blocks away from grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The IMAX theatre, the Playmill Theatre, and the local museum are also within walking distance as is the Visitor Center which includes a ranger station.
