Hidden Waterfront Gem Shoodic Mountain
We adored Sharon’s well kept and clean camp and all the amenities. We slept peacefully in the comfortable beds and woke up to beautiful water views. We enjoyed morning coffee on the roomy, brand new deck each day before jumping in the water and kayaking! The outdoor shower was a bonus and a must do after hiking or swimming. We spent one day at Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor eating lobster rolls and taking in the beautiful views of Cadillac Mountain. The drive was accurately described. Our evenings were spent making s’mores by the fire pit. Sharon is so accommodating and knows how to make her guests feel welcomed. I hope to return again!! Thanks Sharon!
Thank you so much for your review! I love this beautiful place and so pleased to shard it with people like you!
We loved it
The house is beautiful, the location is perfect if you like nature, and Sharon was very nice.
Pleased you enjoyed the cottage !
Private, clean, neat, stocked
This was our 2nd summer staying here because we liked it so much the 1st year. The new, large deck overlooking the water is the gem of this camp. The long metal dock extends into the clean, sandy water. The interior is comfy with rustic charm. The owner, Sharon, is the nicest host and so accommodating. The house sits back from the road and is very private. The house is stocked with everything you would need, including bottled drinking water. This is really a place you need to see to believe.
Thank you so much for your nice review! Love sharing this beautiful place with you
After a 14 hour drive we were welcomed with a tranquil lake view, opened door, and fresh cut flowers
We loved our family vacation to the Back of the Moon Cottage. Was a welcome sight after our long drive. The cottage provided all the amenities...and our host was always available...only a phone call away. Neighbors were kind and courteous and made the cottage feel like home. Morning kayaking among the soaring eagles and diving loons...grilled dinners on the deck...and nightime campfires spent listening to the loons...will not be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your home with our family, Sharon. : )
