About the Property

Two-story, 3450 sq' home, 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, sleeps 6-8, mountain views!

This 3,450 square foot, two-story home is centrally located in Santa Barbara and has beautiful mountain views. The lower level was remodeled within the last 5 years, with new hardwood floors, paint, and kitchen.

Downstairs, the formal living room is a south-facing, bright and sunny room gracefully appointed with plush furnishings in a quiet palette of sky blue and earth tones, all complimented by a gas fireplace. The adjoining dining area, which faces the mountain views, has a generously-sized dining table and a buffet that is filled with table cloths and dinnerware, ready for entertaining. The kitchen and informal dining areas have new, custom cherry cabinets and cesarstone counter tops, and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook gourmet meals. The kitchen is complete with a gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, garbage disposal, hot and cold filtered water, and a planning desk. The den/movie room is equipped for watching dvd movies, which you can choose from the selection in stock. It also has a futon that opens to a double size bed and can sleep one or two people, and a chess/checkers table with two chairs. There is a large game room that also has a futon, treadmill, piano, and ping-pong table. Lastly, the lower level has a full bath and a laundry room.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master suite is the largest bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and has a separate sitting area and fireplace, wet bar, two balconies (one to the south and one to the north), television with cable, and a dressing area and full bathroom. The front, south-facing bedroom is generously sized with a queen size bed, television with cable, and has a full bath across the hall.
The rear bedroom is a suite that has its own attached bathroom and two twin beds.

The entire home is on wifi, there are telephones for local calls, and has gas heat, air conditioning, and a water softener. There is an attached garage but it is not included in the rental. There is room in the driveway for two cars to park side by side, and off-street parking as well. The front porch is covered and has bench seating.

Originally built in 1969 and still owned by the original family, the style of the home is ranch and with stucco exterior and a tile roof. This home has much to offer and is ready to be enjoyed by friends and families.

Bel Air Knolls is a hilltop neighborhood centrally located 5 minutes away between the ocean and the 101 freeway, and 7 minutes from Downtown, and Uptown. It is very close to the Mesa, though it is out of the fog that is commonly on the Mesa because of its hilltop location. A very short car drive on city streets will take you to the beach, foothills and mountains, restaurants, shopping, and many of the beautiful sight-seeing opportunities Santa Barbara has to offer.

About: Our parents built this home in the late 60's when Bel Air Knolls still being developed and had many vacant lots. Five siblings were raised there and our precious Grandfather lived with us as well. Our mother has since moved into smaller accomodations, making our family home available for others to enjoy. Over the years many improvements have been made. All who enter say: 'This is really nice.' We hope you will feel that way as well.
