Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Beaver Village is a great family oriented condo. We had 7 including one child and had plenty of room. Indoor Pool just down the hill a bit with hot tubs made for a relaxing evening. Easy access to town and the resort or you could jump on the shuttle and go. Melinda and Tony are great to work with, even gave us some great advise on where to eat. Can't wait tell we get to visit again.

A Winter Park Wonder

  • 5 of 5

An ideal family apartment well situated for easy access to both Winter Park ski resort and town. The half-hourly shuttle was superb, our kids measured that it was 56 paces from the front door to the shuttle stop. We ended up using the car mainly to store the ski’s in overnight and the run to the Safeway in Fraser (5-mins away). At the weekend, the Beaver Village Condominium’s shuttle ran additional services to the base of the mountain.

We couldn’t really fault the apartment. It is exactly as it is shown in the photos and it is very well equipped. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (and for the 8 of us when our friends from Fort Collins came to join us for the weekend). Importantly, it was warm and there was a good supply of hot water for showers, despite my daughters doing her best to empty the hot water tank while she sang her heart out to whatever is supposed to be popular music today.

We visited the restaurants of Winter Park every other night. I don’t know whether it was because we stood out because we were English but absolutely everybody we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. On the other nights, we cooked in the apartment, the kitchen had all that we needed to cater for the 8 of us. When it was just the 4 of us there was enough crockery and cutlery that we only needed to turn the dishwasher on a couple of times during our stay.

The laundry room in the club house was handy (and relatively cheap). It was quite handy to disappear from the kids for an hour or so, sprawl out on the sofa’s in the laundry room and read a book, while our smalls were being refreshed. Despite being the peak season, we always managed to get a hot tub to ourselves each time we visited the clubhouse. The BVC DVD collection was very extensive which we took full advantage of. (Our Après Ski evenings consisted of snuggling up on the sofa, watching movies and eating ice cream straight from the tub.

We’ve have had a superb relationship with the owners since the very first contact regarding the apartment in Jul 15. (I’ve had less contact with close members of family over the last year.) Every query we had was answered promptly and the information provided was very reliable.

I would return to this apartment in an instant. However I guess it’s going to take a while to save enough cash to cover the airfares, lift passes and ski hire again so it’ll be a while before we return. In the meantime I’m more than happy to recommend this apartment to others.

A terrific property, and wonderful management

  • 5 of 5

We leased this place for my Spring Break 2015. 3 couples stayed comfortably. The property is well appointed, and quite nice. The location is a very short bus ride from Winter Park and we were easily able to walk to main street for restaurants and clubs etc.,

The owners were wonderful to work with, accommodating and pleasant - we are considering a return to WP this season and would definitely consider a return to this property!

Family Ski Week

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to make family memories! We slept 7 people (one child) very comfortably and cooked breakfast and dinner for 11 people in all each day. The fireplace wood was convenient to get from across the parking lot. The bus service to and from the slopes was key to everyone making their own schedule for the day. The natural light was amazing. We could even enjoy the full moon from the sofa! The owners were easy to communicate with and very professional. It won't be long before we will want to book another ski trip to Winter Park's Beaver Village.

Comfortable home away from home after a day of mountain biking!

  • 5 of 5

2 of my buddies and I stayed for a week after mountain biking for 3 days in Winter Park. It was so great that the owners have a 3 bedroom condo, so each of us had our own space at the end of the day. The condo is clean and quiet. The owners were very easy to work with and really fast at returning the security deposit. We really enjoyed relaxing on the front deck after biking. Thanks for the use of your property.
