About the property

3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 60' satellite TV, two decks, single car garage

20% discount IF you want to ski during the week arriving Monday and departing Thursday evening or Friday morning (skipping the weekend) I am willing to discount the rent 20%. Just mention it to me in your email.

Come make our home yours this holiday season! New to the rental market. Spacious (1550 s.f.), clean, functional and affordable three story townhome located in Eagle-Vail available for rent on a nightly or weekly basis. Save money on ski parking or leave the car at the townhouse for the non-skiers because the eco-transit bus stop (with service to Vail, Beaver Creek or Avon) is less than 100 yards from our townhouse. The bus fare (each way) is $1 for 18 and under or $4 for adults. Vail is 8 miles away and Beaver Creek is 3 miles away. In the summer, walk to the Eagle-Vail outdoor pool, hiking trails and driving range. After a long day of skiing at one of the nearby resorts or shopping in Vail, unwind in front of the wood burning fireplace while watching our 60' flat screen satellite TV.

A bit more about our townhome....

We are one of the interior units in a four unit townhome complex. There are two reserved parking spaces - one in the single car garage and one immediately in front - and additional guest spaces on an as-available basis.

Our townhome is three levels, which creates a nice separation between the bedrooms and living space. The entry level has a single car garage, stackable washer/dryer and bedroom (queen bed) with 32' flat screen tv, walk-in closet and private bath.

The MAIN LEVEL has a kitchen, dining room, powder room, living room with wood fireplace, 60' satellite TV, reclining couch, I-pod dock, and two new decks (one on the north and one on the south side)

The TOP LEVEL has two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill full bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and partial view of the mountains, while the second bedroom is intended for the kids with full size bunk beds. Each bedroom has a walk in closet and bathroom sink with its own vanity. The shared bathroom has a combination shower/bath.

Our townhome is stocked with everything you'll need to feel at home. There are DVDs and games in the family room, linens and towels as well as sleds in the garage. We generally leave basic condiments like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and the like out for you to use.

We love Eagle-Vail and want you to love it too, which is why you'll find a notebook upon your arrival setting out all of our favorite places to eat, hike, ski (including some of our favorite runs), bike, shop, or take the kids.

Residential internet in the mountains is good, but not as reliable as urban centers, so there are times when it will go down for a few hours.

Only other charge is for cleaning, which varies depending on how clean you leave it and how much laundry is done (washing and drying takes a while). Cleaning service charges $75 if you take care of the laundry (having all the sheets and towels washed and dried) have all the dishes done, beds made, and leave it pretty clean, $150 if not.

I only take checks for payment. Once received, I’ll send you a confirmation and instructions. If you want to check me out, you can visit the Eagle County Assessor's website and you will find me listed as the owner http://property.eaglecounty.us/assessor/taxweb/search.jsp . I'm also a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado. If you go to the Colorado Supreme Court website and type in my registration number, 11261, you can verify that too.

Cancellation Policy

I own this one unit and operate in an informal manner. A cancellation is quite a bit more difficult for me to fill than a sophisticated hotel, so if you cancel, I’ll try to find another renter and refund whatever portion of the rent you paid that I can get (hopefully all). Obviously, the longer the notice you provide the better the chances. I understand if this doesn’t work for you, but I cannot afford to reserve the unit and then leave it unrented. If you are not sure about your plans you may want to check back later or try a hotel (although they are quite a bit more expensive).

Everything we needed for a 4 day ski trip!

  • 5 of 5

A group of friends and I spent 4 nights here for a little ski vacation, and it was perfect! Couldn't beat the price, and the location between Vail and Beaver Creek was extremely convenient. It was very spacious and the 8 of slept very comfortably here. Easy access and no problems, would rent here again in the future!

We rented this place in the summer and were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, big and nice. The pictures didn't do the place justice. Great location in Eagle-Vail. Would stay here again.
