The redhead next to me is my wife Ana. We have 2 daughters who are grown and are on their own (not really, if you are a parent you know) and a 14 pound Schnoodle (he thinks he is a giant). We have been living in the DC metro area for about 36 years and absolutely love it. Washington DC is a beautiful city for people coming here to spend their vacations or attend conferences, weddings, funerals (The Arlington Cemetery), graduations, sight seeing, festivals etc. There isn't any city that offers so much! I manage the properties and Ana tells me what to do (!!!) We are a great team and we really enjoy doing what we do.
Allen purchased this Apartment in 2012
Why Allen chose Truxton Circle
This apartment is practically brand new. We gutted it out and redid the whole thing in 2012.
What makes this Apartment unique
This unit is a 10-15 minute walk to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Great location in DC
The house was nicely furnished and very clean. Bathrooms also very clean and roomy. Best part was the location. Very close to center of town, easy walk to museums.
Only downside was the street is on an ambulance route, at least 3 a day.
Nice property; very convenient location
We enjoyed our week in this condo: public transportation is extremely close by, the kitchen is sufficiently stocked for light cooking, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. I did not give it 5 stars because we were a group of 5 and that meant 1 person slept in the living room/TV area, which is a bit cramped even when only 4 people are using it. Though it’s true (as advertised), 6 bodies can find a place to lay their heads, it’s tough if you don’t all go to sleep and wake up at the same time.
We enjoyed staying at this location during a visit to D.C. There were four adults and one toddler, and we didn't feel cramped. The location made it easy to get around (there was still D.C. traffic, which can be slow at times). Allen and Juliet were both great. Allen stopped by to welcome us and Juliet checked in with us during our stay. We were able to go to the local store to stock up on breakfast foods, and snacks, which allowed us to not eat out every meal. The biggest drawback was that there were no local restaurants within walking distance. We always felt safe in the neighborhood. Overall we would stay at this location again.
Nice place to stay
Nice clean place was just right for us. 15 min walk to Washington Convention center and 10 minute walk to grocery store. It was a little noisy at times with neighbors so close and the street noise/sirens were loud if you slept on the pull out bed in the living room. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Good deal for the price compared to local hotels. Great to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment.
Excellent place to stay.
The apartment had everything we needed. The location was within walking distance to the DC mall. Allen was super quick to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this place to everyone!
This unit is in between two metro stations; Shaw-Howard University & Mt. Vernon Sq/7th St Convention Center. Both are 11 minutes away from the unit. The National Mall is an 11 minute car ride (without traffic), 25 minute metro ride, and 33 minute walk.
There is a grocery store (Giant Foods) down the street from the unit; roughly 7 minute walk.
