About Jodi Presley
I am a Medical Professional in Springfield, MO. I am originally from Arkansas. I moved here in 2000 when I fell in love with the beautiful Table Rock Lake area. I travel frequently and stay in vacation rentals myself, so I know what it takes to make your stay comfortable.
Jodi Presley purchased this House in 2016
Why Jodi Presley chose Blue Eye
I love the quiet side of the lake. It is in the Mark Twain National Forest. It is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Branson and Kimberling City. By boat we are between Kimberling City and Indian Point. By land we are just West of Big Cedar Lodge.
What makes this House unique
The house is very homey and comfortable with a large yard and plenty of parking. It is less than 1/4 of a mile to the boat ramp.

Wonderful and gorgeous
Overall a fabulous place to stay. Property owner and her mother were amazing.
Great place for a weekend getaway.
Rented the house for a small birthday celebration. Had everything we needed and was close enough to several attractions.
Rude Owner, dirty, outdated property
We were really excited about this property. I was getting married at Dogwood Canyon and needed a home with enough room for our group of 5 plus a small dog. This was the closest location we could find to Dogwood that was big enough and allowed pets, and the reviews seemed decent, so we booked it.
This property is extremely outdated, which would have been fine if it was well-kept. The driveway is a rutted, dangerous mess, the beds were saggy and uncomfortable, the linens in desperate need of a wash, and the towels provided smelled so badly of mildew that we ended up going out to get beach towels to use because we didn't want to smell for the wedding. The drains, especially those in the middle of the bathroom, stunk and drained extremely slowly, clearly in need of a cleaning.
The worst part though was the floor. It was as though it hadn't been swept, let alone mopped, for quite some time. I planned to put on my wedding dress there, but after finding the bottoms of our feet black just from walking from the shower to the bedroom, we quickly changed plans. We came back to the property still in our wedding clothes, and I had to hold up my dress because when I let it sweep across it once it came up filthy.
All of this still might have warranted a couple of stars; maybe their cleaning crew slacked that week. But the owner of this property is what made it so awful. We arrived exactly at check-in time Friday. No one was there; we got the key from the box and went in. Everything seemed okay until Saturday when my brother and bridesmaid had to return to the property to get something between the wedding and reception. The owner showed up banging on the door, demanding that they pay the pet deposit immediately. We've stayed in other rentals many times in the past; I've never heard of an owner entering a property. There was nothing that said the deposit needed to be paid upon arrival. We were staying until Sunday and had plenty of time to place the money on the counter. Instead, this woman decided it was appropriate to barge in and harrass my brother. The deposit itself is a joke; nothing my dog could have done would have made the property any dirtier. The rest of our group stayed at a hotel in town; wish we would have done the same. This property was the only dark spot in an otherwise perfect weekend.
I have no idea how anyone could have given this property a good rating. And it's clear I'm not the only one who thinks so.
Rose, I am very sorry that your stay with us was not all that you expected. The note on the refrigerator has my number and you are asked to contact me if you are dissatisfied with anything about the property. I never heard anything from you. We would have corrected any issues. Allowing your dog was not stated up front but I wanted to allow as a courtesy for your situation. Also, Jane never enters the property while rented unless helping a guest at their request. When Jane checked on you she asked how everything was and your response was the house was wonderful. Again, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. That is not what we like to hear. We want to leave all of our guests wanting to return.

Lovely home with plenty of room, great views and peaceful atmosphere.
It is a well maintained and beautiful home. There is plenty of room for a big family or several couples. A shady back porch offers the perfect place for a morning coffee or evening drink. Very much enjoyed my stay and returned to my life feeling relaxed and recharged.
