Joyous January in Downtown Portland
My husband and I had a wonderful month in the City of Roses, due in large part to staying in this exceptionally well-appointed condo. It is within easy walking distance of the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Symphony, Portland State and the Farmers' Market. Ethnic food trucks are a 3 minute walk away and a variety of fine restaurants are nearby or easily accessible by public transportation. We appreciated our parking space; having a car made it easy to visit our daughter and family in Northeast Portland. The owners were quick to respond to queries and were very friendly and helpful. An unusually positive Northwest experience!
My wife and I spent August here and had a great time.Very well located, well equipped, clean, quiet neighbourhood, walk every where,or take the streetcar/bus.Owners were very attentive. Will come again !
Location and comfort
Two blocks from the waterfront for jogging and strolling, right on the trolley line, near the fabulous Saturday farmers market, near PSU, a number of great restaurants within walking distance, spacious apt in nice building, well equipped kitchen, good ac system, and a short trolley ride to Pioneer Sq., what could be better. My wife and I stayed for a month and plan on coming back for two if we can work it out.
A condo that exceeds expectations on every level !
My husband and I stayed in this unit for 3 months this past summer and were amazed at how quickly we felt like we were at home. The location was primo: walk everywhere within minutes, public transportation at your doorstep, and even a park adjacent to the building. Concerts, restaurants, the river, open markets, shopping are all at your fingertips. The unit was immaculate and well stocked with supplies. The owners are delightful, responsive and friendly. This is just the perfect place to stay....it simply has it all.
Fabulous Summer Vacation
My husband and I stayed here for the month of June. The condo was just perfect--beautiful, spacious, fully equipped and perfectly located within the downtown Portland area. The kitchen was filled with every dish, pan, and spatula one could ever need. After a quick walk to Trader Joe's, we ended up staying in for many meals since it was so easy to cook!
The owners were very concerned and responsive when we had a question plus they called a local handyman to resolve a minor issue with an appliance. The handyman (a skilled contractor) showed up right away and the issue was solved.
The condo's location is close to just about everything. We walked and shopped everywhere, hiked multiple city parks, plus took car trips out to Astoria, to the Columbia Gorge, to the nearby wine country in Washington County (my personal favorite), to the Oregon Garden and to Silver Falls. No matter where we decided to go, it was very easy to get there. For those travelers who still use paper maps (gasp!) the AAA Club is only a few blocks away.
Thanks for a wonderful vacation--I can't wait to come back.
