Our large picturesque beach home will bring you days of relaxation, enjoyment, and comfort! It is located in Terramar Beach Subdivision, in Galveston Texas at 4115 Temprano Drive, 77573. When you first drive up to our property, you will notice a large covered outside area with an awesome grill, small fire pit, two large picnic table, relaxing porch swing, and many lounge areas for family and friends to gather. We also have a built in fish table on the edge of the downstairs outside area for cleaning all the fish you will be bringing in from your morning fishing adventures on the bay! The lot directly in front of the home is ours, so family and friends can really spread out and throw a frisbee, toss a football, or do whatever activity they are interested in that requires extra space. After coming in from the beach, pool, or bay, we have a downstairs bathroom and hot and cold outside shower that will bring convenience and refreshment after a fun filled day! In our nice sized garage, we have a large refrigerator/freezer to add to the convenience of outside cooking and refreshment.
Once you are upstairs and enter our home, you will notice a beautifully decorated kitchen, dining area, and living room with a large open floor plan and full length windows covering the entire wall of the open living areas. The ocean views can be seen clearly from all three living areas including kitchen, dining area, and den. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffee pot, and crock pot for your convenience. A neat and tidy laundry area is closeted to the side of the kitchen with washer and dryer, lots of overhead storage, mini ironing board, and iron. The dining area has a large table that will seat 4 people very comfortably and an additional bar area with 3 bar stools for more seating. The living room has two full size sofa sleepers, two additional full size couches with raisable ends on all corner to put feet up, a lounge chair, and a big screen TV. A separate door leads outside from the living/ dining area onto a huge covered deck with large outside table with seating for 6, two lay down lounge chairs, and four additional full size chairs to enjoy that outside meal, card game, or just relaxation. There is also a child gate at the edge of the deck so little ones and toddlers can stay safely in the front, away from the stairs.
Once back inside, after leaving the main family area, there is a nice sized bathroom with double sinks and full shower. The bedroom to the right has one king bed, a set of twin bunk beds, and a lounge/rocking chair with side table. The bedroom to the left of the bathroom has a full size queen bed and one set of twin bunk beds. It also has a full size baby crib and comfy rocking chair, and there is a mini hi-chair and baby gate stored in the closet if needed and in pantry area. All mattresses on all bunk beds have been switched out with plush full sized Serta mattresses for a great night's sleep! The third level of the home has the coveted secluded master with two double sized beds, large bath with double sink and full shower, large walk in closet, and large covered outside deck directly off the master with beautiful ocean views. This deck has two chairs and coffee table for relaxation.
HOUSE RULES: Our home is allergy free, so I am sorry to say no pets allowed. We only rent to family groups and responsible adults over the age of 23. Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions, prom parties, senior trips, fraternity or sorority parties, large birthday parties, and graduation parties are not allowed at any time.
Although our home is fully furnished, there is no guarantee of usable items such as toilet tissue, paper towels, dish liquid, clothes detergent etc etc. These items are usually in the home, but if renters before have used up all items, there is no guarantee. There is a small store two miles to east which stocks these items and much more.
All reservations are screened, including online reservations. Adults cannot rent properties on behalf of underage guests, no exceptions - this is grounds for eviction and forfeiture of all monies.
Check in is 4pm and check out is 11:30am. Flexible check in and check out may be available depending on renters leaving before you or coming after you. Ask homeowner for availability. No more than 12 individuals are allowed to rent our home. And, if renters have guests over during the day, no more than 20 individuals allowed on the property at one time. Cars are limited to a total of 6 vehicles. 4 vehicles in the driveway, and two vehicles can be parked to the left of the home ('to the left' as if you are standing in the driveway and looking directly at the garage) in front of the empty lot. BY NO MEANS ARE RENTERS ALLOWED TO PARK ANYWHERE ELSE ON CUL-DE-SAC. If a boat or trailer is pulled behind a vehicle than only 4 additional vehicles are allowed. NOTE: AS OF 8/15, IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT RVS/MOTOR HOMES PARKED AT OUR HOME ARE AGAINST DEED RESTRICTIONS IN TERRAMAR BEACH SUBDIVISION. SO, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO HOST GUESTS WHO NEED TO BRING SUCH VEHICLES. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
Loud music and noise is prohibited. Non street-licensed vehicles (such as 4 wheelers, go carts, dirt bikes, scooters, ATVs, etc) are not permitted. The property is non smoking. No smoking is allowed in the house or anywhere on the property. Fireworks are not allowed anywhere on the property.

My husband and I have 4 children and three grandchildren. My husband and all our children were 'BOI' (born on the island) and we all have a huge place in our hearts for the wonderful city of Galveston! We live 45 minutes away in League City, Texas, and always enjoy our relaxing drive onto the island and the fun and memories we make at our lovely vacation home. We chose to buy this home in Terramar beach because of the quiet and friendly atmosphere of the subdivision. And, for those who like a little more excitement, the beach for sunning, the subdivision pool for swimming, and the marina for boating is just a short walk away. If nightlife in Galveston is what you are looking for, there is plenty to do and experience with fun lounges and great restaurants! Shopping on the strand is also a huge attraction and the kiddos do not want to miss a trip to the Rocky Mountain Candy and Ice Cream Parlor!

We chose to purchase our little slice of paradise when we fell in love with this large beach home with it's huge covered decks and wonderful ocean views. Whether you are outside sitting in the swing on the lower level enjoying the ocean breeze, laying on the loungers on the main level deck enjoying the sun, or having a peaceful rest on the upper deck right outside of the master bedroom, you will love the huge areas to enjoy the outdoors and make memories with family and friends. The garage bathroom and outside hot and cold shower brings so much convenience to your stay as well as the large grill or fire pit for evening meals.

Just what I needed for my get away. Close to the beach where I could see and hear the waves. Lots of space for all.
Great family fun
This is our second year at this wonderful beach house. We had a great family getaway. It's a short walk to the beach crossing just one main street ( even with a toddler and 4 mo old). The house is beautiful and well maintained. The owner is very easy to work with. Highly recommend this house for making memories like we did with our kids and grandkids.
Great views with lots of space to relax and enjoy!
We enjoyed this place so much. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family of 6. We had one night that we entertained family and had them over for the night. We were a total of 12. There was plenty of space, room to roam on the various levels and balconies. I really enjoyed that there was an abundance of seating outdoors for everyone. Listening to the waves at night was a favorite past time for everyone as well.
We enjoyed the bayside for watching the sunset and fishing as well as the community pool. The owner was very pleasant and helpful with any questions I had. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome locations, beyond expectations!
We loved this house! 10 stayed, 6 adults & 4 children and it was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised as the photos do not do this house justice. The rooms are much bigger than they appear in the photos. The beds are very comfortable. The property is in a great location, views of the gulf and has a huge yard to play in. We used the community pool which was great and a few blocks away. The beach entrance is right across the street. Couldn't of picked a better location and the house was so nice and comfortable. We are already wanting to plan our return trip! And thanks to the homeowners who were very informative and inviting. Two thumbs up!
Fantastic Family Vacation
This is a beautiful home that has everything you need for a wonderful family weekend. Our daughter and her husband and 13,12, and 10 year old drove in from Austin. Our son and his wife and 1 year old came from Houston. We were able to cook our meals in the well equipped kitchen and walk down to the beach. The owner was very accommodating. We hope to stay again next summer. The 10 of us never felt crowded. The rooms are bigger than the pictures show. I would definitely recommend this property.
BEST Value on Galveston Island
This was an excellent selection for ourselves, our 2 sons and their families. Everything was as promised (the photos do not due justice; the actual rental property is much nicer). There are great ocean views from both balconies. Everything worked well including the gas grill on which we prepared some delicious steaks and fajitas. The property is located about 25 minutes from downtown Galveston but we also enjoyed being away from the crowds and this gave us a chance to have some quiet family meals together. The property is about a 3 minute drive from Beach Access 31. We would take our beach stuff in the SUV, unload and spend our time on the beach. The subdivision pool was available (and used by us) for our use as well. Valerie, the owner along with her husband, was very accommodating in making sure everything was ready for our stay. We especially appreciated that no pets and no smoking were allowed. THIS IS OUR SECOND STAY IN THIS BEACH HOUSE and we will plan to come back again.
