Our Paki Maui condo is located in beautiful West Maui along the Ka'anapali coast above Lahaina. From our ocean front complex you will have incredible views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i and the breathtaking Hawaiian sunsets will be a lasting memory.

The tropical grounds of Paki Maui include a tranquil koi fishpond and waterfall, mango and banana trees, grassy lawns that overlook the beach and ocean - just perfect for sunbathing. A set of stairs lead you to protected waters - ideal for snorkeling. During your snorkeling experience, you may see the magnificent Giant Sea Turtles, many tropical fish and colorful coral. There is a gated heated pool and Jacuzzi area surrounded by lounge chairs, beautiful Hawaiian flowers and plants. You may choose to barbeque your meals on the two gas BBQ grills in the recently renovated pool/cabana area and enjoy your meal at one of the picnic tables or else on your private lanai.

We consider our beautifully remodeled condo, Paki Maui #113, as our second home, and yours: you won't be disappointed as you'll enjoy the modern amenities, from the granite kitchen countertops and the spacious kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, new bathroom vanity and tile floors throughout. Our goal is to provide a great value for families - affordable yet upscale and comfortable at the same time.

We believe in keeping our condo top notch and replacing items on a constant basis! We now offer complimentary WIFI just for our unit, NetFlix and unlimited calling to the USA and Canada on our land line. Brand New LED flat screen TV's, a blu-ray player and a IHome Docking Station to play all your favorite music. A 40inch Samsung in the living room and a 32inch JVC in the bedroom as well as beach chairs, boogie board, tons of kids beach toys and portable cooler! Traveling with an infant? No worries we have a pack n play available upon request as well as a booster seat.

Upon arrival at our condo you will have a supply of toilet paper, paper towel, a variety of soaps, basic condiments, and salt & pepper. We believe in a pay it forward system and encourage our guests to leave behind non-perishable items.

We are Ron and Lisa Sedlic of Vancouver BC Canada and we really love the island of Maui and spending quality time there with our children! We chose this property because we absolutely love its location! Aside from the beauty of the property and beach it's walking distance to everything you need from the Farmers market with local produce, fresh local fish market, Times Grocery store, Bad Ass Coffee shop, Snorkel and Surf shop, Subway, the best deli and Taco place on the west side of the island and various other restaurants and shops! Short distance to our favourite beaches Naplili Bay and Kapalua Bay. Location truly can't be beat!

What makes this apartment unique

Snorkeling at your doorstep, beautiful beach park right next door with play area for kids, whale watching from Nov-April, as well as giant sea turtles that appear daily right on our reefs! Private lush greenery surrounding our lanai keeping our unit shaded and private. As well, the massive glass patio doors open to really expand your living space outside.

My wife and I recently made our annual trip to Maui with our two young children. Our ground floor suite was recently re-modeled and updated with new stainless steel appliances which gave the suite a great feel and was very comfortable. The suite was very clean, well kept and our lanai backed on to the garden area and pond filled with coi that the kids loved to go see every morning.





Paki Maui just might be the best kept secret location for parents with young children. The property is located on the beach overlooking the Ocean with a pool and hot tub steps from the beach. The beach is protected by two lava flows that break the waves in two spots making for great snorkeling and a safe play area for small children.





The location is great for all tourists and is just steps away from grocery stores, the farmers market and a great public park.





Great spot and we are looking at booking again in the future.

Our stay at lisa’s condo was simply amazing. Not only was Lisa the most pleasant person to rent from and deal with, but also extremely accommodating. The condo is in a perfect spot. It’s within walking distance to the beach, farmers markets, many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and COFFEE!! The condo was extremely clean and stocked with lots of good beach goodies (snorkeling sets, boogie boards, chairs) and a few things to get you settled in for your stay. We absolutely loved this condo. The condo stays nice and cool throughout the day. there is an amazing cross breeze and there are a couple fans to help out with the cooling. Do not let the no a/c turn you away!! Very few places in this area have central a/c anyway! How much love, care and thought put into this condo shows from the moment you walk in the door. We can not wait to come back!

Great little spot close to lots of shopping and steps away from the ocean

This little place was perfect for our stay on Maui. The unit was a quick walk to the grassy lawn that fronts the ocean. There was a little beach park next to the property that was easy enough to get to. We enjoyed the chaise lounges along the grassy lawn area where we could watch the waves roll in.

The furniture and decor within the unit itself was great. The bed was super comfy with lots of pillows. Loved that! We definitely put the kitchen to use. It had everything we needed! The bathroom was also clean and updated. I’m a bathroom snob so that was kind of a big deal and it passed with flying colors!

Couple of things that could definitely be improved to make the stay perfect (I rated it 5 stars because these things didn’t make or break our visit. But, gosh, this would have made it absolutely amazing!)

The unit has no AC. There are two fans that can be moved around as well as a ceiling fan in each room. But when it’s hot outside, you’re really just blowing hot air around. It made sleeping a little difficult some nights. The window in the bedroom could be opened. However, it opens directly to the parking lot. At 5 am other guests are getting up and leaving for excursions, which means condo doors are slamming and car doors are slamming. And every time someone locks their car door it sounds like it’s beeping right into the bedroom, which really sucks at 5am.

If I could change one thing it would be to add an AC unit in the bedroom so that that window can be shut at night and we could sleep in :)

The other thing that you might want to note is that the lanai is not very private. The two units next to this unit have to walk through your lanai area to get to the main path that leads them out of the garden. Again, not a deal breaker at all but rather something to note.

If you’re looking to sleep in and enjoy a private lanai then this may not check those two boxes. But, if you want to stay within walking distance to lots of stuff including the beach, a pool, the sunset, and have basically all of the comforts of home, then this place is perfect.

Second time, just as good!

This was our second stay at this condo and I'm surprised by some less than favourable reviews. Yes this condo would benefit from a/c there are plenty of fans that cool it down quite well. We never had an issue with noise eventhough the bedroom faces the parking lot, we found it quite quiet. Love how the sliding glass doors open up into the courtyard, it's so beautiful to sit out there and have a lovely breakfast each morning. Love the reno to the bathroom, it's gorgeous! Can't wait for our third stay down the line!

Not Good

When I read that this condo didn't have air conditioning, I thought it would be OK because my husband and I only run the air when absolutely necessary and we like sleeping with the windows open. The problem with this condo is that it is poorly ventilated (i.e., hot) due to the poor design of the complex. The air doesn't naturally flow through this condo -- you have to force it. Yes, you can open the windows and use the fans to help circulate the air, but the problem with leaving the windows open is that this condo complex is loud (also due to its poor design), and the bedroom window faces the parking lot. There are several problems with the positioning of the bedroom window: 1) Cars are parked less than 10 feet of the bedroom window, so not only do you have the noise of cars and people getting in and out them, you have bright lights and the smell of exhaust blazing and wafting through the window. 2) The parking lot has two loose metal manhole covers that slam every time anyone drives over them -- and this happens a lot. (I don't know how many times I sat bolt upright in the middle of night when those covers slammed, certain someone was breaking into the condo). 3) Just outside of the bedroom window is a table and chairs set up for smokers. Early each morning (often before 7), we were awoken up by the sound of the smokers' chatter and the smell of their nasty cigarette smoke, which wafted through our bedroom window. 4) On Thursday mornings around 6 a.m. (even earlier than the smokers arrival) were were awoken by the roar of the garbage truck and endured its obnoxious backup beeping.

And the acoustics aren't much better on the lanai side of the condo. The courtyard offers a symphony of couples erupting into arguments, peoples' coughing fits, maintenance men's blowers, and construction workers' blasting music. The bottom line is that this condo, although well appointed with all the creature comforts beside air conditioning, offers absolutely no serenity. So if you are a person who needs peace and quiet. Look elsewhere.

Owner's Response: I'm SO SORRY you had a poor stay at our condo! We have had our condo for over 5 years and the design issues you are mentioning have never been an issue. I've contacted the HOA to have the loose covers tightened. The smokers area is on the other side of the parking lot and has never been an issue. Again we are sorry other guests and workers were being noisy, sounds like it was just bad timing. Paki Maui is one of the smaller complexes in the area and I've always found it to be very peaceful every time we stay at our place.

Enjoyable Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Paki Maui. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of space. This unit doesn't have air conditioning but there are a few fans in the apartment. If you open the windows in the early mornings the unit will cool down. We liked having a nice living room and kitchen to cook small breakfasts and relax before we left to explore. We loved being close to the Organic Farmers Market (acai bowls, deli, soups, salads) and Bad Ass Coffee. There is also a path nearby (close to Duke's) that we would walk daily to meet our friends that we're staying at the Westin Villas. There are plenty of beach supplies for use which is very nice. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would come back in the future! Thanks!
