Please note that if you or your group are looking for multiple houses within Palm Springs, that I have three similar homes in central Palm Springs of of Sunrise that are very similar to this listing and all houses are within the same neighborhood with two of them being side by side and the third house just around the corner from the two houses that are adjacent to each other. In addition, I then have two other listings on the Tahquitz Creek golf course that are located on the 4th hole and 8th hole of the Tahqutiz Legends golf course. Also note that the gas fee is not charged during the summer months of June/July/August and begins on September 15. The summer months however do incur a utility charge of $50/day, so any inquires of dates during that time frame will show the gas fee/utility fee in the quote. Should you elect or want to reserve/book online and do so during the summer months, the gas fee/utility fee will be charged. Further, also note that the gas/utility fee unfortunately can not be calculated as a daily rate during the winter months and will only show as a $50 daily charge, so any vacation request during the winter months will have the gas fee charged accordingly up to the maximum weekly fee. So please again note that when figuring out your rental rate as the rate will more than likely be a bit higher to account for the added gas usage charges up to the maximum amount on a weekly or daily basis. Should you elect or want to reserve/book online the correct gas fee will then be calculated by me based on days and or weeks the property is rented and charged accordingly. Again, I will edit your rental request as necessary for the gas fees and then send you an updated quote to rent the house for the correct amount.

Please also note that their is an administration fee for all credit card transactions and you can view those fees on my rental contract that is uploaded to this listing. To view the rental agreement you will need to download the rental agreement as you try to book the property online on the payment page. The contract will then download to your computer for review and you can review terms of the agreement. So, if you reserve online, you will need to book the house via credit card for the security deposit and then by e/check to avoid any fees for rental payment by credit card. Lastly, I do have a cancellation refund in place and it can be viewed on my rental contract. So, please do note that I do have a refund policy in place and that the refund terms are listed the third page of my rental contract.

A beautiful get-away home on a large 12,632 sq ft lot, with desert landscaping and lawn. Located in central Palm Springs, this modern 4 bdrm, 2 bth, 1666 sq ft ranch style house is a quiet retreat ideal for rest, relaxation or a group retreat. With one large living rooms inside the home you will find ample seating for everyone or go outside and relax by the pool in one of the numerous chaise lounges or deep seating collections under one of the three lanai's or relax in the attached spa while you gaze at the serenity of the property. The backyard features a newly constructed outside entertainment area, featuring a beautiful fireplace and a custom outdoor kitchen with built in BBQ, two refrigerators and sink. Additionally the outdoor kitchen features two 40” flat screen TVs all under the lanai for further outdoor entertainment or the viewing of your favorite sport teams. All TV’s are set-up with Direct TV, so you will have many viewing options to choose from.

This 4 bedroom home is beautifully furnished with a large living area with custom built in cabinets with a large flat screen TV. The user-friendly kitchen includes all modern appliances and is well stocked with glass, dining, and cookware. Sliding glass doors lead to the large private backyard and pool area. The outdoor dining area is covered with a lanai with a ceiling fan and light and the BBQ/bar area is covered as well and includes a gas barbecue, two small refrigerators, and looks across the pool, perfect for game play and or lounging while enjoying the serenity of the property. Complete outdoor privacy provides the opportunity for swimming and sunning for those who choose. Air-conditioning and ceiling fans allow for complete interior comfort, day or night. High Speed Wireless Internet is included. For our guest’s added convenience, there is a washer, dryer located in the garage for use during your stay. The home features a two-car garage as well for those wishing to park their cars inside.

The large master suite has a Cal King bed, 50 inch flat screen television with direct TV and a two-sink bath with a large tub and hand shower. Additionally, the master bathroom features a large walk in shower. There is a solid door that leads out from the master bedroom to the pool and spa area. The other two spacious bedrooms or hall bedrooms look out onto the front of the house and has magnificent views of the mountains during the morning sunrise and evening sunsets. The back hallway bedroom has a King bed and 50" flat screen television and the front hall bedroom has a Queen bed with a flat scree TV, each with comfortable furnishings, and with its own flat screen televisions with direct TV access. The last bedroom is slightly smaller than the two hallway bedrooms and is adjacent to the master bedroom or as I call it the middle bedroom. This fourth bedroom features a full size bed with a dresser along with a closet for storage of any clothing and or miscellaneous items. Although this room is slightly smaller than the two in the hallway it is a very functional room large enough for a comfortable and private stay by guest with ample natural lighting, can lighting for reading, ceiling fan and IPOD/IPHONE docking station with an alarm clock, along with a 32" TV with Direct TV service. Total house can sleep eight very comfortably and or guest can choose to sleep on one of the two chaise lounges off the large coach in the living room.

Perfect house for friends, two to three couples or a large family. Also, for larger groups are those parties seeking additional space, please note that I do offer for rent the house adjacent to this property, or right next door and offer a gate between the two properties, so guest can remain on the grounds or on each property while staying at each house. Close to (within a mile) the downtown shopping strip, The Aerial Tramway, World Gym, The Riviera Club, three shopping malls, excellent restaurants, medical facilities, spa locations, worship centers, award-winning golf courses and several casinos. The residence is non-smoking, although smoking is permitted, outside. All linens are provided, including swim towels. Families with infants and or children of all ages are welcome, however, the pool area is not fenced and or gated, so we discourage unattended toddlers and younger children swimming or to be unattended at anytime while in the backyard near or around the pool. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. We cherish our escapes to our own desert getaway, as we always have valuable rest and memorable fun. Wonderful stay in great location!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Gunnar's place. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking, BBQing, etc. We spent lots of time in the large backyard area. Gunnar was also incredibly helpful and communicative before and during our time there. Great spot!

the property was in a nice location. we did expect more in the way of the homes condition. concrete outside flaked away,loose fixtures in bathroom, crazy pool controls, a rule book that was way overdone. I know you need to cover your ass but this was crazy.

Relaxing desert vacation

Our family really enjoyed the house. It was very clean and spacious. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the amazing backyard. Cooked our lunch and dinners outside and ate outside as well. We were happy we were able to bring our pets as they enjoyed it just as much. Will definitely come back to this home next time we come to Palm Springs.

Less than impressed

I booked this house based strictly off the backyard, the pictures were gorgeous and it looked like the perfect place. The inside of the house doesn't have the typical modern model home look that most places in Palm Springs do but I figured we'd mostly be outside so I didn't care. Upon check in I informed the property manager that the box around the tv outside was broken which made it unusable. He was aware and just had not fixed it. Night one we were loud and outside wayyyyy past an acceptable hour so I don't disagree with the noise violation but Saturday we were told we were too loud during the day. The only reason to rent this house is for the backyard and if you can't enjoy it, there's no point. There was a small group of us that were no louder than a family with children would be jumping in and out of the pool, bbqing and socializing around the bar.
