Girls get-away!

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend this rental!!! It was perfect for a girls getaway for 3 nights at the beach. When she says walk to beach, walk to town, she really means it! Literally 900 feet to town and 10 minute walk to beach, along beautiful New England roads w/ lots of amazing Colonial homes to look at. We were very surprised by the high quality restaurants nearby- lots to choose from and really great food, and there are 3 lovely town beaches. It was very helpful to have the resident beach pass that Criss gave us for 2 days. We also visited Hamonassett State Park, which has a large beach and miles of easy hiking trails to discover, not to mention the amazing views of LI sound! What a relaxing, quiet, sunny weekend we had!!! Loved it, thanks to Criss and this great rental! We will definitely be back w/ our husbands and will rent the full 2 bedroom next time! We also loved just sitting in the back, staring at the birds, chipmunks, squirrels and bunnies, and at the serene salt marsh through the trees. Everything was just perfect, thanks Criss!

Beautiful property, well stocked apartment

  • 5 of 5

A friend and I stayed for the weekend at Criss's place. She upgraded us to her other apartment on the property at no cost. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Her home and the property are beautiful. I cannot say enough about the little town of Madison. Her property is definitely walk-able to town. Not sure about the beach--didnt want to try it with a snow storm and temps in the teens but others say it is! We felt very comfortable during our stay. Lots of extra blankets, etc, Kurig coffee make, etc. Thanks again!

This is a perfect rental for weekend retreats, get togethers, get aways, and weeklong/month vacations! 10 minute walk to Madison's independent theater, fine dining, Long Island Sound beaches, Madison village shopping, and the library.

This garden apartment efficiency is on the main street through the town of Madison, yet it is on a two acre wooded property that tucks it away into privacy. Bird watch from your deck that overlooks the tidal marsh. Lawn games are also at your disposal.

Relax with a book on your deck overlooking the tidal marsh, or stroll the beach or the sidewalks in town. There is something for everyone in your group to enjoy.
