About Deb Calnan
I am a third grade teacher who lives with my family about an hour south of Denmark. I spent all of my childhood summer weekends and most of my summers as an adult with my children at my favorite place on Earth. This is the first year that I have been managing the rentals for my dad, who owns the property. We had a rental company do it before, so I am excited about adding this personal touch for our renters, who will be enjoying such a special place.
Deb Calnan purchased this Cabin in 1962
Why Deb Calnan chose Denmark
My mom and Dad bought the land from my Grandfather who developed Swan Road and Cygnet Drive. Swan Road is named after my grandfather, Arthur Swan, who built the road and sold the lots. Cygnet Drive is named for my Mom, who was a cygnet, a baby Swan. My Mom and Dad, who was a carpenter, built the camp back in the 60s. The above picture is of my dad, the owner, my 3 siblings, and myself. Our family enjoyed many wonderful summer weekends together at camp as children, as well as many years after with our own children. Since my Mom's passing 9 years ago, we started renting the place in the summers.
What makes this Cabin unique
I have loved this place since my very first memories. My heart always skips a little when I turn the corner in the road and see the mountain in the distance for the very first time each spring. Aside from all the memories, I enjoy looking out the windows and seeing the mountain, the lake, and the wildlife. The first call of the loon lets me know summer is finally here. Another reason is being able to jump in our boat and go for a ride whenever we want. I hope you enjoy this special place as much as our family has and still does.

I've been coming up to the lake region for over a decade. This is a great location. My favorite property to date! Owners are easy and great owners. We will be back!
A great place to be in the summer!
We spent a wonderful week at the lake with our family. Everything was clean, the lake was warm and the eagles across the lake were entertaining! We enjoyed every day!
This was our 5th year here.
It was supposed to be our last year because we bought a travel trailer and we join our daughter camping.
But the grandkids love it here so much we booked again for 2019 My grandson calls it the maine house
Deb does a great job. When we arrive the house is clean & many things are supplied.
Dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher soap, kleenex etc.....
Well stocked home
I like that the sun hits in the afternoon because this gives us the morning for hiking
Great home on the lake
I found this gem 2 years ago and me and my son and the rest of my family have enjoyed a great stay. My family will look forward to coming back every year. What a great place . Our family will be back every year. Home owners are so kind and will to help with any questions. Can't wait for next summer. Thanks Sincerely Picard family
The property is wonderful and as described. Great location for kids and nice to have a boat launch.
This is our 5th year at this location. The owners are great to work with and keep the home immaculate. Having 2 kitchens and 2 areas for families is great since we have the kids and grandchildren with us. The waterfront is wonderful and having a dock for our boat is great. We'll keep coming back.
Very clean, private, comfortable with amazing views of lake and surrounding mountains. Will definitely stay again!
Bridgton, Maine is just 15 minutes away with many of the amenities and good-sized town offers.
