Location! Across the street from Whole Foods, walking distance to downtown, etc.

Location! Modern garden apartment across the street from Whole Foods (1 minute), CVS, Coffee, etc. and the train station, 5 minutes to heart of the city! Next to Museum of Science and 15 minute walk from Galleria Mall. Close to everything. Walk to the freedom trail and downtown by foot.

Everything is on smart system including door codes, thermostat, etc. Never worry about a key. Check in anytime after 4pm with a door code. House is professionally cleaned an sanitized.

The space

Our beautiful home is on the garden level of a house and very conveniently located across Whole Foods shopping plaza in the gaslit part of town of Charlestown. It's picturesque, beautiful and close to everything Boston has to offer. You can travel on foot or the train is a 5 minute walk from the house and one stop to the North End or 2 stops to downtown. It is part of the freedom trail.

You have a private entrance but share the same backdoor patio with the upper unit.

You have the whole apartment (lower unit of a 2 unit house). You can also book our upper unit along with this unit. Upper unit can sleep up to 10 more if you desire to have more guests when traveling. Parking available by request. We can only accommodate one car no bigger than a sedan. Please note this when traveling.

We offer true high speed internet access in the house along with a smart TV. You can sign in to your Hulu or Netflix accounts so you always have your preferred programs at your fingertips or just browse through our cable TV program on TV.

Playpen cribs are by request. We are extremely kid friendly and will do our best to accommodate! We have two little girls ourselves. Should you ever need toys, sippy cups, or any other kid items, do not hesitate to ask! Toddler silverware, bowls and plates are by default always in the kitchen! Toys can be provided before you come. We know how hard it is to travel with babies and toddlers. we're happy to provide sanitized toys.

Premium luxury towels and linens are provided along with shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, dish detergent, first roll of paper towels, first roll of paper towels, first sets of trash bags. The kitchen is equipped with a keurig coffee machine, a set of pots and pans, spatulas, cutlery, cups, bowls, and plates.

Enjoy your stay with green tea memory foam mattresses with plush mattress topper. It's truly a luxury stay home away from home!

Our home is always professionally cleaned and sanitized after each stay. We use the best cleaning companies to make sure your stay is a happy one.

Interaction with guests

We strive to respond in a timely manner by text, email or phone. We're a smart home and you never have to worry about keys. Each guest will have a unique key code to the door so you never have to worry about sharing keys.

The neighborhood

Walk 1 minute to Whole Foods. You can actually see it right out your window! Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Famous Todd English Figs Restaurant, Monument Restaurant, and plethora of other great restaurants and bars walking distance in the area.

Getting around

You are 2 blocks from the train station and a plethora of buses. On a nice summer day, you can walk to downtown through the freedom trail. One of the safest neighborhoods and picturesque areas of Boston with famous restaurants.

Great!

We had a great stay here. The apartment is clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the neighborhood is fantastic. The T is only a few minutes away on foot, so it’s super easy to get around the city, and it was a real pleasure to walk back from dinner in the snow, under the homey glow of gas street lamps. Julie is great to work with and made everything as easy as can be. Five stars all the way!

Not as described or how it looks in the photo.

This is a cavernous, basement apartment. There was no hot water in the kitchen; no cable TV; the Roku worked intermittently. The family above has a baby and toddler who get up at 6:15am, cry, run around, make noise for 2 hours every morning. After paying the full amount ahead of time, the owner demanded I sign an agreement in 22 places, and then took a large damage deposit without forewarning me. She said she would only supply 1 roll of toilet paper, and that all garbage must be taken across the street to Whole Foods public dumpster (which is illegal where I come from), even though there are 3 garbage cans up the steps. Who would clear the steps if it snows? I did get the deposit back. Unnecessary hostile distrust, and too many neurotic demands.

Owner's Response: Hi Bobette, with all the things I've done during your stay, I feel really hurt you've written a false review. Our property is inspected monthly by a property manager. I have my professional cleaners check before and after all water, drains, washers, dryers, and TV and everything is working properly with their written reports. Yes, there is 2 kids with a nice family upstairs who you have threatened everyday. I've stopped by to delivery rolls of paper towel, thrown out your trash, and also installed a total of 22 bulbs of light in a 300 sf studio because you wanted it BRIGHT! I've also purchased extra curtains and installed them during your stay. We have 3 garbage bins in the back where you can put your trash so I have no idea why you brought it to Whole Foods. My agreement said if you have "excessive trash" to not crowd out the bins in the back but with 3 large bins in the back, most people do not crowd out any bins. We have a professional snow company that comes shovel the snow after it accumulates above 1 inch and if it's raining, then after the rain. Steps are always safely salted according to the times indicated by law. We require top notch quality and standards in our listings which other homeowners don't even think about and this review is false as I've actually visited you over 4 times in your week stay and spent more than $500 based on your requests to make you happy. As we donate all our funds to the local schools, and I've been nothing been warm and you've been nothing but hostile to neighbors as well as me, I find your review very disappointing that a guest would give such comments after we've shown so much love. The lovely neighbor upstairs who you threatened everyday with the kids also helped changed bulbs while I was there, ordered her kids to be quiet in the morning for you. I really don't know what else we could have done for you but my suggestion is you should really spend the money and live at a 5 star hotel and give them your demands. I have two children and I bent over backwards for you because I'm working for charity and because I love helping the local schools. I also love servicing my guests and we usually become great friends. If you look at my reviews here and other sites, we have all 5 star reviews 99% of the time because I employ the best cleaning company and the best property manager that always fixes problems immediately.

Nice Property

Owner's Response: Hi Cynthia! Thanks for staying with us! The head is adjusted with the wall units and also the central heating unit. We put in extra heaters because it does get to freezing temperatures here and we like to keep our guests very cozy. We have a central air unit as well as extra individual wall units so it could get toasty if you wanted, lol. I have included extra information in the welcome folder to note that if it gets warm, you can turn off the wall units and it can be as cool as you like. Also, all the windows open in the unit. I think you may have missed the handle on the window? Thanks again for staying with us!

Great Location

Julie is very responsive and it was a pleasure to deal with her. The condo is in a fantastic location, making it easy to walk into downtown or catch an Uber. The shopping centre across the road has a Whole Foods if you need quick meals etc. The condo was very clean and provided everything we were looking for. There is some noise from the upstairs condo in that you can hear them walking around and talking but other than that this was a great place for our weekend away.

Perfect

My husband and I stayed here for a four day getaway. Julie was super easy to work with and responded to my emails very quickly. She even contacted us shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was fine. She has a booklet that spells out everything that you need. The place looks just like the pictures and is clean and comfortable. Getting around be foot or Uber is a breeze. Coffee and groceries are across the street. No need for a car. We had a fantastic time and would stay here again. Thanks Julie!!

Loved the apartment!

Great location near the Orange Line. Made it very convenient to get into the City. An added bonus was there was a shopping plaza across the street with a Whole Foods Store and CVS amongst others. Very clean. Julie was great to work with.
