Great for groups!

Our family had a wonderful experience in this roomy, well appointed home. There was ample space for group activities, game nights and meals and the many charming bedrooms offered a quiet retreat. The walkability to the general store, docks, restaurants and shops was very convenient. The central location on St George was great for day trips to both Port Clyde and Rockland (and beyond). Our group of children and adults had a fantastic time and look forward to returning next summer!

Enjoyed our stay

The owners of this seaside home have obviously put a lot of love into this property. It was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The managers to the property were responsive and helpful. If you love the understated beauty of Tenants Harbor, you will enjoy this property. We hope to return soon.

Great value in beautiful house and setting

Five of my life-long friends enjoyed our week in this lovely home. It is very comfortable, well appointed with exceptionally attractive furnishings and a lovely deck and table for outdoor meals and cocktails. We wish it had a full bathroom on the second floor, but three of us who stayed upstairs easily accommodated. Beds are very comfortable. Setting beautiful with walkable market and restaurant. We'll be back!

Renovated Farmhouse-Watts Avenue, Tenants Harbor-448375

My wife and I rented this property for the annual visit of our family which included this year-2015-5 children and 3 adults. It is a very clean and well presented home with everything one would want in a home. Any questions or problems one would have are taken care of immediately as the next door neighbor is the go to person for the owners. From the house it is an easy walk to the harbor and other town amenities. We have rented 6 other homes in the area and by far this is in the best condition of them all.

Just Right!

We had a family get-together in this home for one week. It suited our needs perfectly as we were nine people (7 adults and two kids), and as other people have said, the house is quite spacious so it never felt crowded. Also as others have said, it was very clean when we arrived. We did go out-and-about most days but didn't do all that we planned because it was just too pleasant/easy to hang around the house together and relax (so yes, we were lazy). The kitchen is well stocked so you should have everything you need, and plenty of towels/linens. There is a small general store nearby where you can get essentials and basic groceries; closest major grocery store is in Rockland about 15-20 minutes away (you definitely need a car if staying here). The beds are comfortable, but be aware that they are double beds in four bedrooms, so if you are accustomed to sleeping in a larger bed... The only thing I would note that could use improvement is the recycling and garbage disposal. 1) if you have a mold allergy, stay away/out of the garage (where trash/recycling receptacles are), 2) a second recycling bin is needed (we very quickly filled the one provided). Overall though, again, it is a great house to get away for a while. I would stay again.

Lots of cozy bedrooms, lots of space for our big family

Our family, including four children, ranging from ages 8-15, and a dog, had a great time here! There were enough bedrooms for each of us to have our own space, we all enjoyed hiking on the beaches, eating lots of seafood, and a puffin tour. There was plenty of space for relaxing and down time, and everyone is ready to spend time here next summer! Thanks for a great week!!
