This was a great place for a restful vacation in a place where birds and alligators outnumber high rise hotels and condos. The house was basic, spotlessly clean with relatively new and comfortable furniture. A huge screened room overlooked the lovely lake. Cabinets held lots of books and games for rainy days with water toys in the garage for the pool. The weather was a little too cool for swimming, and we wished the pool had been heated. Water plants and docks from the other houses lined the banks of the small cove. Otherwise the setting was perfect. We used the two kayaks and the canoe daily. The area has easy access to parks and beautiful springs and is less crowded that the coastal areas.
Very peaceful. Nice dock to fish from or just enjoy the surroundings. The house was very clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and sitting on the spacious, screened in patio. Close to town with restaurants and shopping.
Our family had a great time. The boys 6 and 9 loved canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. We ended the night with a campfire and s’mores. The house was exactly like described.
Relaxing and fun
Even though it rained every afternoon, we had a great time. The boys fished, swam in the pool, took the canoe out and toasted marshmallows. The huge screened area was the best. Enjoyed sitting out there, eating out there, and playing board games. Quiet neighborhood and the house had everything that we would need. We would definately stay again.
The back porch is truly a treasure to relax and enjoy the lake and serene views! So glad you had stayed here in Paradise!

Paradise Found is the perfect title for this gem !!
Clean as a whistle and just as pictures portray. This is absolutely a place we would consider returning to. We had a door handle issue while there and the owners were super quick to get their handyman out and fix it. I can't even say it was a problem.
The screened porch is huge and the fans keep it very comfortable even in high humidity. The pool was sparkling and delightful and garage was packed with floats and noodles.
I was able to sit at the far end of pier and spy on a little gator for about 30 minutes who was sunning on a log as well as enjoying turtles and many sea birds.
The areas of Dunnellon, and further down Crystal River are very nice places with plenty to do both in and out of water. The State Park in Dunnellon is amazing .. shocked and delighted to find out that you can swim there in the crystal clear water for a small $2 admission fee. Restaurants do not disappoint. We found several in Dunnellon are more abundant in Crystal RIver, but that's only a pleasant 12 mile drive. Chamber of Commerce ladies were super helpful with maps and information of the area as well as what the owner has provided at the property.
I think anyone would love this place!
Thank you for pointing out so many of the wonderful things to do while here in Paradise. We are between Crystal River and Dunnellon/Rainbow River, a terrific central location!
