An open and spacious floor-plan awaits you including 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and for the chef of the family, a well-stocked kitchen with convenient work island.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious screened porch with vaulted tongue and grove wood ceiling, charcoal grill, and flat screen TV while overlooking beautiful oak trees draped with Spanish Moss and wonderful views of the lake, pool and the wildlife that frequent the shoreline!
There are three flat-screen TVs for your enjoyment. In the living room, the master bedroom and the back porch. Wi-Fi and basic cable TV are included along with a DVD player and a robust book library.
When you’re not fishing, bird watching, laying under the trees on the hammock reading your favorite novel or exploring the lake with the canoe and two kayaks (all included in the rental rate), take a dip in the refreshing screen enclosed heated swimming pool.
Fishing is the name of the game on this lake! Fishing from the dock/boathouse you can catch bass, brim, catfish and other freshwater fish. The covered boathouse has 2 slips waiting for your boat, you can put your boat in at Goldendale public boat ramp just a short run to our dock.
You can run your boat east up the Withlacoochee River to the sparkling clear waters of the Rainbow River where you can swim, tube, fish, snorkel or tie your boat and dine at one of two waterfront restaurants, Swampy's or The Blue Gator Bar and Grill. If you would like to rent a boat, the Blue Gator has boat rentals. If you boat west from our cove to Inglis Dam you can tie up and hike the nature trails and explore.
There are many beautiful state parks nearby or play golf at one of the nearby golf courses. Approximately 8 minutes by car takes you to the historic town of Dunnellon for its antique shops, boat rentals, diving, snorkeling, and tubing or kayaking the Rainbow River and Rainbow Springs State Park, truly a must see while visiting! A short 15-minute drive west takes you to the town of Crystal River where you can swim with manatees, dive for scallops, or visit the beach and go shelling or ocean fishing. The ideal central location with so much to see and do!
As your day of adventure comes to an end enjoy the sunset while having a marshmallow roast and your favorite beverage around a roaring fire at the large backyard fire pit. Parking is no problem, there is plenty of room for vehicles, boat trailer or RV.
