Located directly on Lake Granby's north shore, this chic home has truly amazing views and a massive yard on the waterfront. Also, this home is located only a couple hundred yards from the Beacon Landing Marina, where you can rent a boat, or if you have your own, just rent a slip! The home's decor is a perfect reflection of lake living and outdoor recreation. From the lower level's walk out patio and lawn, to the main level deck, to the upper level balcony, there is ample opportunity to take in the fresh air and views so good, they will rejuvenate your soul! You'll probably spend most of your time enjoying the outdoor spaces, but in case you're visiting in winter, or get a rare rainy day, the home is nicely furnished, cozy and comfortable, and has multiple living rooms. It is an A-frame style house, but with an additional wing. Downstairs, the lower living room is the largest space of the home, and is plenty big enough for a home theater style entertainment area as well as a bedroom area with a Queen bed. Off the lower living room is the third sleeping area, a private bedroom, again with a Queen. There is a full bathroom and laundry down here too. Walk out from this level right to the lakefront yard! The middle, or main level contains the formal living room, dining room, and kitchen, and bathroom. Cleverly designed to make the space function well, with the home's wing creating a nice formal living room focused on the beautiful lake views. The upper level is skinny and long with high ceilings. This room has a Queen bed, sitting area, and covered balcony with a view sure to start your day with a smile. Ideal for 3 couples, this home could also a great fit for families with kids! A gas grill, and lots of outdoor furniture help ensure that you will be able to enjoy the outdoors. Pack the marshmallows, graham crackers, and hersheys chocolate for smores, and brush up on your campfire ghost stories so that you can make the most of the lakeside firepit. Barring a fire ban, this could be a real highlight for your visit What a special place to spend some time! You'll be coming back again and again! PLEASE NOTE, the water level of Lake Granby, Colorado's largest natural lake, does fluctuate. The Lake may not always come right up to the propertys edge as pictured. A lower water level is more likely to be an issue in the spring and fall. PLEASE ALSO NOTE, this is a PET FREE home. This means that, for health reasons, no pets or service animals are allowed. To allow even a service animal would create an undue burden and health risk to the owners and other guests, and in compliance with federal, state, and local law, even service animals are prohibited from being present at this home.

Lovely setting, cute house
We spent a wonderful family week at this house and brought home many happy memories. The area is very quiet, even though there's a small marina two doors over. It made for a convenient pontoon boat rental for one of our days. The water level of the lake fluctuates so you may have a bit of a distance to walk out to water, not to mention ankle deep mud on the way, but in August, the water temperature was very tolerable. We had a fox friend who would come by most days and hunt for her dinner. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking dinners but a little tricky since the overhead lights weren't working. Full sized washer and drier was nice for that middle-of-the- week load. Be aware that all stairs are circular. We were a little concerned that our 3-year-old granddaughter would have a problem but she negotiated the stairs just fine. A nice perk was having the use of a two person kayak and a paddle board. What you don't see in the pictures is the lovely sectional outdoor sofa on the deck. It was a great place to gather and enjoy the awesome view. The owners were very responsive throughout the process and during our stay. The reason I gave a four star rating... there were a few areas in the house that could have been cleaner. Kitchen floor needed a good mopping and bathroom rugs had seen better days. The downstairs tub drained very...very slowly and probably needed unclogging. Plunger didn't do the trick. Overall, it was a nice place to spend a relaxing time in one of Colorado's most beautiful locations.
Some down falls
The little place was clean and cute right on the lake. However, what vrbo doesn't tell you is its not friendly to anyone with any type of handicap. It has small steep sprial stairs going upstairs to the top bedroom and down stairs to the other two bedrooms and the bathtub on bottom floor is very high and difficult to get in and out of. The main floor tub not finished thus has a circle curtain around it and one covering the window thus makes it very small. But if those things are not a problem it is a great location!
Wonderful location, very quiet, and just right as a base camp for seeing the area.
We stayed here about ten days (August, 2017) and found it to be a good place to escape the crowds at nearby Grand Lake. Very, very quiet location right on Lake Granby, an easy walk from the Beacon Landing Marina (nice for boat rentals). There was space enough for our family of five, though with Rocky Mountain National Park only about ten minutes away, we didn't spend much time in the house until evening. I particularly loved the balcony overlooking Lake Granby in the mornings for a quiet cup of coffee.
There were some remodeling efforts underway during our stay, but nothing that had any effect on our enjoyment of the place.
Very enjoyable stay, in a place I won't forget.
Really great deck that overlooks the lake. The house was comfy. We used the boom box and Cd's. We stayed 1 week and went hiking everywhere around that we could find. It is 20 minutes from the grocery store where all of the tourists are. Very nice and quiet on this lake. Walking distance to the marina where you can rent a pontoon boat. We did and the water is very very cold to swim in. But the scenery is amazing. Lots of picture opportunities. There is a picture of the house after a snow storm on the fridge. I hope to be able to go back to see the area when the lake has frozen over. You can't go wrong with renting this home. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This house does have a spiral staircase that goes from bottom floor to top floor. If you have small kids could be very tough.
Wonderful family vacation!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house truly is a home away from home. Comfy beds, kitchen stocked with small appliances and dishes, plenty of towels, and even a washing machine and dryer for when you need to wash clothes from a long day of hiking. House is very close to Grand Lake, which we visited often. Also minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park and other great hiking areas. We came with our small children and a wonderful time was had by all! Best part was waking up to view of lake and having coffee every morning on the newly expanded deck.
We loved our stay and we hope to make back here again.
