My wife and I both grew up on the east coast, me from New York and she from Connecticut. We moved to the west coast early in our marriage and now live in the ever rainy city of Portland, Oregon. We love Florida and Port Saint Lucie because there is always something new to do and always someplace else to explore!

Why James P. O'Brien chose Port St Lucie

We've always had a dream to retire in Florida. We love the sun, sand and the overall beach atmosphere that is present pretty much anywhere you go in the state. Buying a second home was the biggest investment we have ever made. During our search we saw many different neighborhoods in Port St Lucie. We picked this home because of the high quality construction from the roof to the pool. We found the Torino area highly desirable due to overall neighborhood appearance and its central access to all the major beaches.

What makes this house unique

My wife and I must have looked at over 100 homes, but this one we fell in love with immediately. From the second we pulled into the brick driveway and looked up at the sturdy barrel tiled roof, we knew this was going to be a great home. The overall quality of construction was readily apparent from the central kitchen with thick granite counter tops and access to the lanai from the master, living, and family room. There is an open feel to the main living areas with 10ft ceilings and wide arched entryways. The split bedroom floor plan maximizes privacy by having the master bedroom on one end of the house and guest bedrooms on the other. The master bath is an experience in relaxation with a roman style Jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower. The homes landscaping is neat and attractive and culminates with a screened, heated pool with a pebble tec finish in the fenced backyard.

Above and Beyond our expectations.

This was our first trip to Florida with our three daughters, 16, 13, and 11, it was also our first time renting a property instead of staying at a resort. The home was very clean, very well maintained, and the owners had put in so much forethought regarding the comfort of their guests.

Having driven 16 hrs from Indiana it was a relief to arrive and find everything we immediately needed so we could relax and get to know the area instead of having to make our first stop the shopping center. The O'Brien's had put together a binder filled with information about the appliances in the house, their pool, trash pick up, and when their maintenance people would be there to service the property. They also had a number of great restaurant menu's, and places to visit tucked away which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Our kids loved the pool, and we loved the screened enclosure keeping the bugs out. Our first day there we were greeted by some of the beautiful birds that live in the wooded area behind the house, and were tickled to see the salamanders and frogs. My husband grilled delicious steaks for us on Christmas day, and we were able to make two trips to Universal Studios, and one to Kennedy space center with no trouble at all. The house is conveniently located in a very quiet and well kept neighborhood no more than a 2 hour drive from the attractions, and less than an hour from a strand of beautiful beaches on the coast, and the Indian River.

This was by far our best family family vacation, and the care and attention to detail that Mr. and Ms. O'Brien share with their guests was a big part of our experience, and family memories. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you! From the Webbs

My husband and I vacationed in this lovely home for 10 days, November 2017. Sprawling bungalow. Safe neighbourhood. Loved the master bedroom & very spacious ensuite. Inviting patio and private pool. Unfortunately the pool heater was not working . This home is very close to shopping, theatre and dining. Highly recommend this home for your vacation. Owners were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Would we book this home again? Yes!

This house was the perfect place for my husband and me. It was spacious and nicely updated. We made great use of the pool. It was fully stocked with so many amenities. The owners have put a lot of thought into this home for guests.

Great home!

This home was very nice! I needed to be located near Tradition Field and it was only a few miles away.

It has a lot of room and the master suite and bath is large and nice.

It was very clean and organized. A book was there with all of the information needed about the house and the area.

I like the proximity to the stores and interstate too.

Everything worked well and I would stay here again!
