About the property

One full week rental required...nothing less than 7 days will be accepted.

This new beautiful 5 bedroom waterfront home sits privately at the end of a cove with Southeastern exposure which gives you sunshine all day long. The location is special....serene cove, safe beach, great swimming, picturesque setting, abundant nature and just a short stroll to charming Wolfeboro Center. State of New Hampshire Meals and Rental License #059695 Please call my cell 203-641-6000 if interested before doing anything with VRBO or Homeaway.

This home is our family vacation home that we just completed in August 2012. We provide our guests with an immaculately clean, well appointed lakefront home. The property offers peacefulness, wildlife viewing, privacy, dock (accommodates two 27 foot boats) 100 ft of sandy, gradually sloping beach, swimming, kayaking and fishing. It is very rare to have all this privacy but still be able to walk to the village in 10 minutes.

This 2700 sq ft home has cedar shake exterior with stone foundation. Wide planked hard wood floors are found throughout the house except for the three full baths that are tiled. The gourmet kitchen has stainless appliances, granite counter tops and butler pantry. Large eating area opens to the living room with stone fireplace and walls of glass overlooking the lake. Both the eating area and living room have spectacular views of the lake with atrium doors that open to a large deck overlooking the water. On the first floor you will also find a full bath, bedroom with queen sized bed and a laundry room.

On the second level is found the master bedroom with queen size bed and sitting area. Beautiful master bath done in Carrara marble has Roman shower and double sinks. Two additional bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with a double bed are also found here. An additional full bath done in sandstone completes this level of the house.

This residence also has a lower level with large, open family room warmed by a wood stove that opens to a stone patio. A fifth bedroom with twin beds is also located here.

Keep in mind, the house is brand new so it has all the amenities you would expect in a new home - central air, on demand hot water, rain showers, heated floors, high definition flat screen TVs, broad band wireless internet access and digital high definition cable. Lawns, patios, decks and dock provide ample space for recreation or quiet time to soak up the sun or read the book you have been waiting to read all year. Boat and jet ski rentals, groceries, gas, restaurants and local artisan shops are just a short stroll away.

Since this is our new home, we cannot accommodate pets or any smoking on the property. Our goal is to provide a charming, pristine, well equipped home with great waterfront views, a dock for your boating pleasures, a lake for swimming and sandy perched beach for children to play, good access for fishing and a wonderful residence to build your own memories in.

You are welcome to contact us for any more information.

About Amy Kirst

My family and I live full time in Madison, CT. We have always loved Wolfeboro and bought this lot several years ago. My husband is a builder by trade so he built the house personally. It is a special home, charming and functional.

Amy Kirst purchased this house in 2012

Why Amy Kirst chose Wolfeboro

We chose this property because of the privacy, the fact that the village is just a 10 minute walk and all three lakes, Crescent, Wentworth and Winnipesaukee surround the residence.

What makes this house unique

Again the unique benefits are that the home was built by my husband so there are extra details not found in most homes. Heated floors, central air, on demand hot water, stone patios, outside kitchen and a new dock name a few.

Wolfeboro New hampshire is the 'oldest vacation spot' in the United States. With three lakes touching the shore--Crescent, Wentworth and Winnipesaukee-- water activities are abundant. Whether you like to motor boat, sail, kayak, canoe, water ski, water tube or just take a leasurely boat ride, this town has it all. Wolfeboro also has numerous shops to browse and many wonderful restaurants to enjoy not only the food but the views. The house was completed in July of 2012 and provides everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing lake vacation. The outdoor firepit can be enjoyed after a day of swimming. There is nothing better than new and our family home provides just that.

Lovely home with amazing view

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful experience during our stay here the 2nd week of August. This is a newer home that provides great amenities and the most spectacular view of the lake. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor fireplace in the evening. Wolfeboro is a perfect vacation spot with something for everyone to enjoy.

Amazing lakefront home.

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful home with all modern amenities. Very clean and charming home in a beautiful setting directly on the water on a quiet and peaceful lake. The wooded lot makes you feel like you are away from it all, but the quaint town of Wolfeboro is only a 10 minute walk away with all its attractions (shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and Lake Winnipesaukee). The A/C was very welcome the one humid day. We had a fantastic family reunion and enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing paddle boarding, morning walks, and napping in the hammock in the shade. Can't recommend it enough.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much Alan for your kind words about our lake home. We try hard to make sure our renters receive the accomodations they expect and hopefully we exceed their expectations. We so enjoyed getting you know you and we hope you will come and stay with us again.

A Most Relaxing and Wonderful Vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

My family of 11 spent the week of 6/28 through 7/5 at this fabulous house. I never expected New Hampshire to be so hot this last week of June so we thoroughly enjoyed the central air conditioning. We loved where this house is located as we walked to town many times. If you turn left when you leave the driveway, there is no hill and it is a short walk to be sure. Wolfeboro is busy with traffic, especially during the July 4th celebration, and we never had to use the car. The 5 bedrooms worked perfectly for my family. We ate many meals out on the deck overlooking the lake. The lake was everything that was advertised. There is a sandy beach at the entry of the lake and there is even a sandy bottom into the lake. We had 3 young children with us so this was exactly what we wanted. There is also a dock that we all swam out to and jumped off. (Not sure that this belonged to the house but no one hassled us). The lake is pristine and we basically had it to ourselves during the week. We used the kayaks every day and even took midnight rides as the lake is quiet with not many boats.

After dinner we filled the outside fireplace with wood and enjoyed s'mores and a wonderfully warm NH night sitting by the fire. We loved having 2 grills as one day my son in law smoked a pork butt on the grille by the lake while we sat and enjoyed swimming and sunning ourselves.

We loved having Dunkin'Donuts just down the street and also having a grocery store and liquor store so close by. We enjoyed delicious lobsters from this market, too.

We also received our entire security deposit back as we understood what it meant to leave the house as we found it. The beds were all made when we arrived and all that was needed was for us to put on our bathing suits and jump into the lake.

It was a perfect vacation for ALL of us and we hope to return again.

We didn't want to leave!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and cannot wait to go back. The house is ideal. I have never rented a house that was so new. Everything in it is modern. It is not a typical rental property. It is obvious the owners only wanted the best for their property and it shows inside and out. Everything from the silverware to the refrigerator to the grills is of excellent quality. There is internet and a TV, but we spent most of our time outside enjoying the lake. I spent every morning on the deck overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee. It was so peaceful and relaxing. When we dragged ourselves away from the house, it was to walk into town for dinner or to shop. The walk is not long at all and everything is right there--a grocery store, mini golf, so many restaurants, coffee shops, wine store, the library. I had to call the owner about a minor issue and she called me back within ten minutes. I felt that I could call for anything and it would not be a bother. We really loved this house and the location. I feel like after all these years of renting, I have finally found one that is a keeper. I hope to go back for many more years.

Beautiful, clean and exactly as promised

  • 5 of 5

We are so happy that we chose this property for our fall family getaway. The pictures in the listing do not do the home is fantastic! The house is immaculately clean and brand new. We found everything that we needed...from lifejackets to a washer/dryer on site. The property sits right on a peaceful cove which made it the perfect place for my husband and I to kayak with our small kids. Downtown Wolfboro, with its adorable stores and wonderful restaurants, is barely 10 minutes by foot (and that was with our kids, 5 & 2, in tow). The owner was incredibly helpful and called early on during our visit to see if we had questions about the house or the area, and to make sure we were comfortable. I hope that the property is available again next year because we will be back!

Rest and relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

What a charming home. The house smelled so crisp and clean when I first walked in. There was a welcome basket with gifts on the table, which included maps and lists of events for the holiday! I was so impressed by the beautiful nature that truly makes you feel like you are in your own private beach. The giant view from the master bedroom was so beautiful in the early morning. I would recommend this vacation spot to any family who loves the water and nature. And yes there is a Dunkin donuts five mins. walking from the front door! It was like having my cake and eating it too! Shopping was just wonderful , you will find everything from gifts to dinner just down the street! Just a beautiful spot! Away and private yet close
